1991 version finds her in exquisite voice, better than two years earlier during "Workin' Overtime". She rides the rather difficult melodic range perfectly. My only complaints are the already dated electric guitar solo--should have been violins--and the palazzo pants, although they were trendy at that time. 2004 sounds more like a torch song. Her voice has lost some power and range but her tone/phrasing are gorgeous. I'd like to hear this with a simpler arrangement, maybe just piano and cello.

She has a sad sound in the 2004 version. Perhaps because Arne had recently died? I am sure when she originally sang this song it was a love song to him so singing it after his death (presumably--he died in Jan. 2004) must have stirred up memories.

I was at the Wembley date of this tour and it seemed to me that it was simplified because I remember it as almost acapella and it was gorgeous.

Arne Naess' older daughter was in the audience and Diana introduced her before she sang the song.

She was incredibly beautiful on this tour and she brought it back to play at Blenheim palace the following summer.

It was a warm but rainy night but the crowd stayed with her and she again was so divine, we were soaked but so happy at the end.
