@dfsg6 , It was scared after being trapped so it was rattling to warn us not to get too close. It calmed down about a few minutes after we released it.
@darrylhaynes I suggest that you stay put just right where you are then but I caution you that the only snakes anyone has to worry about are the kind walking around urban areas on two legs!! Will Bird
Glad you didnt kill it! Snakes are incredible animals and have a undeserved reputation. Out of the thousands of videos of people killing snakes on youtube I have yet to find 1 that the snake was the aggressor its always the person seeking out the snake and killing it. Im down below you in TN and a couple weeks back caught a eastern milksnake crossing the road. I was taking some pics when a woman pulled up and said I was nuts for handling a "poisonious" cottonmouth
@dillywadebreezy , Thanks for the kind words. The timber in this video was kind of pretty and around four feet long. However, we see them over five feet often and sometimes we some that flirt with six feet long. Will
@1234343333333333 , Thanks for the kind words. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the books. I hope that you were able to find more snakes after reading them. Will
I'm from Kentucky. I've come across a few Timber Rattlers, but they space out pretty well and aren't as common as the copperheads and cottonmouths. I can't go fishing or hiking without running into one of them.
@smilelikeacid Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate that you watch my videos. I suggest that you lay off the acid so that you will never confuse me with a rattlesnake killer again!(LOL) Just kidding. We don't kill snakes, we conserve them!! Will
@dpedwards08 I already posted more just like it sir. Thanks for watching...and for getting the book. Be sure to read closely. My name is Will Bird, not will Peak!(LOL) Will
@magnum1968 The Timbers in KY seem to be holding on and are doing better than the populations in many other places. Finding them can be difficult though, so we go to the trouble involved in setting and checking traps. Will
Thanks sir. Only ignorant fools who do not appreciate their own culture that they have decended from could ever bring themselves to harm this species of snake. Sadly, many people are now being brain-washed into abandoning the culture that they came from and as this process continues to accelerate we will see more and more native wildlife destroyed by those who do not understand how to appreciate their true cultural heritage. It is sad. Will
@CabbageWill Ms. you mean ;) and well said. You're right and it makes me so sad to think about. IMO it is our responsibility to care for the Earth but people are much too inconsiderate to think of anything but themselves most of the time.
Thanks Mike! It is good to hear from you. I saw one of your horridus videos and liked it as well. Phil and I sure can;t figure out how someone could bring harm to the true symbols of American Freedom and Wilderness.
What did you guys do to make that rattler rattle so much

What did you put in the trap to get the snakes to go in it.

@lebroniac6 , We do not bait the traps. We put them where we know snakes are moving. Will
