And as far as the turks adopting the crescent and moon from some "byzantine christian empire", which the Bible makes no mention of, is simply a bunch of rhetoric. Although idols are mentioned in the Bible, God makes it clear that He is wholeheartedly against idol worship. A symbol of a cross is nothing more then a blessed reminder of He who died for our sins so that one day we will be saved.
