Well,Rez may be Gex deceased father.

He died in a rocket test on a crash site,so they took him

and remodeled him into this robot-thingy.

Then he went berserk and

wanted to take over the Tv

to get free Cable :D

planet x does have a boss but hes really easy he looks like a sprite of a man, everytime you hit him he pukesand when he dies its hilarious, his head decapitates and his body squirts blood.

oh and rez is technically a bug but he doesn't look 100% bug,he's part mechanical or something of that nature,like a robot-bug thingy

I always considered rez to be fairly challenging(especially when I was 7) but the hardest part about fighting him was listening to gex. He was driving me nuts. He usually has a slew of catchphrases but against rez on my game for some reason he always says one line over and over. And if heard "when is grace jones gonna retire?" one more time I was gonna headbutt the tv.

Is this game for the SNES? The sound effects are in amazing quality. o_O

Playstation.This game also came out for 3DO,Saturn,and PC.But no SNES.

I'm so surprised. This game is so good looking. Plus, the graphics remind me of a 2D/Psuedo-3D. kind of like the Donkey Kong Country engine.

Also, Gex's voice reminds me of Earthworm Jim for some reason...

for a really long time, I thought he was a fly. Flies have a lot to do with this game and it would make sense a fly-like creature would want to kill him.
