The guy expects special treatment for being muslim. It is obvious in his remark about West's failure to 'meet' with muslim constitutents. I want to ask the guy why they need a forum all to themselves? Why can't they show up at the townhalls with the rest of society, and ask their questions? The fact that they are scared to reveal themselves publicly, is very telling. If I had to guess, I'd say they are more afraid of their own people then they are of Americans-and probably with good reason.

How can a Muslim say that Islam is "peaceful" when Mohammad himself was a war lord, murderer, rapist, slaver and an opportunist using a highly molested "religion" for conquest. @Mrcharliebobo The only way there can be an inbetween is if the quran is rewritten with the passages taken out that states that the infidel must be killed, taxes or converted. Do these "moderate" American Muslims denounce those parts in the quran that the extremists use for justification? I've not heard that come from the American Muslim community. Their silence on that is deafening.

I too applaud Congressman West on standing strong with his convictions and do wish him well in his quest.
