I live in Orlando and I heard about surfing at typhoon lagoon but I heard u couldn't bring ur own board and they ONLY did surf lessons, not open sessions. Is that true. Can u go with out having to do the lessons and w/e

Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool must be rented out before anyone can use it, you have to rent it for the morning 6am-9:30am, or 6pm-10pm before and after the park is opened and closed. You can bring your own board and i don't think they ever do lessons in this pool, you may be thinking of the new Ron Jon surf park opening soon in Orlando! The Lagoon is about $1200 to rent out and you get about 100 waves!
