1989. Nobody told Bob Weir longer shorts were in style. The more shambling and fat Jerry gets, the more slim, buff, and athletic Weir gets. What a long strange trip....
remember the "dont murder me" shirts from jersey for that poor kid Adam Katz(if i 'member) who got trampled to death in East Rutherford? fkn security guards!! they dont know how bad they fkt up....peace,turtlepace72
I think he was already out of his come; From Wiki;Later in life, Garcia was sometimes ill because of his unstable weight, and in 1986 went into a diabetic coma that nearly cost him his life. Although his overall health improved somewhat after that, he also struggled with heroin addiction,[3][4] and was staying in a California drug rehabilitation facility when he died of a heart attack in August 1995.[2][4]
The Dire Wolf collects his due, while the boys sing 'round the fire... I've always LUVed that imagery... The band was crackling with energy back then... Good times...
89 was incredible summer for Rock and Roll Tours (on the East Coast)
Grateful Dead, The Who, Stones, Tom Petty, Kinks, Jefferson Airplane reunion. Grateful Dead was the last concert at JFK stadium (Phila) before it was condemned...sadly Brent didn't last much longer.
yes heck yes :) QC

God I miss having Jerry. I'd give anything for one more run of shows. Just a taste of having that scene and that music again.

@rskibum Serenity Knolls. Excellent facility, but the wrong place for Jerry in his condition.

I don't think begging would get a real dire wolf to spare your life!

bobby is wearing his patented white tube socks with white sneakers and a pair of his nutters from circa '79. Loved bobby's wardrobe
