I remember watching this show via satillite at friends on his big screen circa 1989.

I think he was already out of his come; From Wiki;Later in life, Garcia was sometimes ill because of his unstable weight, and in 1986 went into a diabetic coma that nearly cost him his life. Grateful Dead, The Who, Stones, Tom Petty, Kinks, Jefferson Airplane reunion. Grateful Dead was the last concert at JFK stadium (Phila) before it was condemned...sadly Brent didn't last much longer.
