The movies are reflective of the comic strips. As we got deeper into the comics, Batman gets darker. Remember when Robin got murdered by the Joker? Plus Tim Burton created the 1989 Batman. The one that changed the superhero from happy-go-lucky to dark, an almost vigilante. You gotta realize that 23 passed before Burton's then almost two decades until "Batman Begins". A lot changed in that amount of time.

I always loved the car in the series. I remember seeing one of the two cars used in SLC about 15 years ago. In the series, one car was jacked up for closeups, and just a prop. and one the one I saw was an actual car. A rebuilt 1957 Plymouth if I remember right. lol

It was genius. The sixties was a time in Hollywood when actors could actually have a blast, and the screenwriters etc... It all started to change in the 1970's. Now its just not even fun anymore. I wonder what happened to the Riddler etc...

Watching this is seriously painful. for example WHY is everything labeled, BATPOLES, BAT LADDER, and who has a tray of shark repellant in their helicopter. Watch the shark scene closely, you will see that it looks like the shark is peeing when it jumps out of the water.

@TheLonersManual It's SUPPOSED to be funny! That's what makes it so brilliant for the time! It isn't direct, in-your-face comedy, it's more implied, bizarre comedy. I consider it to be the first spoof, parody comedy ever. Just watch an Adam West interview about it.

They should make a Reboot of this and have the director of the Dark Knight have Batman face all of Gothams villians. but you know who would be an even better director Tim Burton. He would make the movie dark a griddy just how batman should be and I the director of the Dark Knight also should be in there too as a partner to make the ultimate final batman Movie

@deandre200318 that's dumb unless for 2 reasons, all of the gotham villians would fill a movie so big even with a 3 piece trilogy it would only be a series of 2 minute action scenes for each villain, and also things should evolve not come to the ultimate final anything, that idea sounds like a mind numbing action fest with absolutely no story made for only money, something I wouldn't be surprised if the idiots in Hollywood would do it in this day and age, they'd prob throw superman in there too
