Usually I'd recommend squid, shrimp, or crabs. Crabs are for big catches though. Frozen Squid at the fishing store (almost every fishing spot and boat-docking spot has a store that sells these kinds of bait) costs the least. You can use half a pint of frozen squid for around 4-5 hours with a group of EIGHT people, and well, while alone, you can use that half pint for days. Good luck fishing!
I try not to use nets because I don't really fish for numbers. I simply like to enjoy going free drift in the middle of the ocean and setting up my rods. Very few times do I anchor down.
i have family tht lives in myrtle beach and i went last weekend to the apache pier and used shrimp and caught some whiteing fishing then cut them up for bait and caught lil sharks all night its fun
@gali4436 Shrimp is not the only thing used on piers in myrtle beach. I fish the piers everyday and see shrimp, squid, mullet (cut bait),sand fleas, blood worms and I'm probably leaving some out from that list!
I've fished at Cherry Grove pier once, but didnt catch anything and the darn pier is 1000 feet long. Makes for a long walk to go to the bathroom. I mainly fish the Myrtle Beach piers and not North Myrtle Beach. I have heard that Garden City is a good spot and I will try it out this summer. Thanks for watching and the comment ezridn50.
dude thats weird i fished that spot i know i did kuz i was there for my lil bros baseball game and we stayed in the hotel behind the kid in the first pic that was a fun trip i caught some nice sharks and some guy caught a huge stingray
Pier 14 is in the 1400 block North on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. Not in the state park and not North Myrtle Beach. You have to walk between the Yachtsman resort buildings to get to it. Hope that helps and thanks for the comment m80death.
It comes and goes. I caught about 30 sharks that day all around that size. On other days I have caught whiting, spots, and flounder. Thanks for looking in at the video.
