honestly anyone who thinks its stupid to have a safety key on your laser is friken stupid. A high powered laser that you can just turn on without any safety key is extremely dangerous. My sister got my 200 mW laser, put burn marks all over my wall and nearly permanently damaged her eyes. Almost any good high power laser has a safety key for a good reason, so friken newbs aren't going to burn their face off. so all you newbs need to shut up.

Divergence is not great and the beam point is rectangular in shape. Does that matter?

At 200mW I highly recommend safety glasses because an accident at that power level with out glasses is going to be very serious.

A reflection from a 200mW laser is likely to injure your eyes without glasses.
