  • Jost's is still in business in India, they are now a multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing firm.

  • hehe

  • GREATTTTT

  • Where do you get these stuff?

  • the small black fan with enclosed blades come off ebay, its called a free breeze fan and its made in canad

  • Thanks for posting would really like to see the inline shaft work on german #1 machine if possible, designing inline beta.

  • those fans wouldnt cool any1 down

  • middle fan isnt designed to cool things down its designed to move hot air around your house, it sits on a wood fire, and with the big fan, you would be suprised of what air is pushed around with the big blades

  • Ya but they would turn a couple of generators or car alternators on sawdust or leaves. Big picture see the korean stirling engine pumping water on sawdust.

  • Nice work. Thanks for posting the videos. Now I see the size of the French-made engine. Still curious to know if it was meant to do any sort of small work function?

There were gas engines (to run on city gas) on sale in the late 1870s. Do you happen to know of any around today? I sure would enjoy seeing one--have only seen the period adverts. They were rated, not in HP, but in "manpower", like "one-eigth man power".

Cool stuff! Thanks for sharing, it's appreciated here.
