Mr. Barto has succeeded & certainly made his early teachers Dombois & Schaffer legacy permanent.

But, with all due respect to you kidneykutter.

If you are going to the effort to record this high level of accomplished playing & interpretation you owe it to the player & Weiss to pay more attention to your recorded audio tracks and recording work flow.

Audio is 50% of the ballgame sometimes more... The quality of the audio here is disappointing.

Sometime if I'm very lucky I may be able to hear Barto playing Weiss on his Rutherford lute in a live concert.

Weiss' sarabandes are always a treat. They range from pathos to meditative to serene to mysterious. The sarabande from #21 might be the musical equivalent of laying outside on a clear night far from any lights and watching the constellations wheel away for the whole night. Simply sublime!

This video obviously does not attract as many viewers as the A major presto. To be precise, a meager quarter right now. Although this sarabande is less of a virtuoso piece, it is at least equally wonderfully played and I wish to express my thanks to consigliere Daniel for posting this! Don Hil
