I umpired Dustin when he played against the GC team in the TAC cup. His foot and hand skills were unreal. Very accurate and could hit a target 50m away. His pace should not be a huge factor, has a very big engine which was shown in the Queensland heat. Good player. As I am a richmond fan. Can't wait to have him on our team

dustins a great player, played with him in nsw while i was there for a year and he was there.. he's a ready made footballer with plenty of skill, should play round 1

Looks similar in appearance and footy ability to Coughlan, Why we pissed him off astounds me, we need blokes who can win their own footy, Hope we get this kid, doesn't look like he has a great deal of pace but he keeps getting the ball, and uses it pretty well.

Trengove is a better prospect then Martin. He is hard running (15.3 beep test), is a proven leader (SA captain) and has played well against men (SANFL). As a Melbourne supporter I'd prefer Trengove.

Went to school with this kid, Castlemaine High School. Remember playing against him when he was bout 13. Being a Tigers supporter i think its imperative that we get a player that can kick... No doubting thats Martin so I am looking forward to seeing him in the Yellow and Black next year!

What puzzles me, being an MFC supporter, is that there is a strong rumour we are considering Morabito at pick 2 (in addition to Trengove....)

If improving the 'decision making and footskills between the arcs' is the no 1. focus of our recruiting effort this year as its been stated, then Prendergast et al. have stuffed up majorly if they think Morabito is bettter in that regard than Dustin Martin.

This bloke is the best kick & decision maker in the draft IMO
