  • T-t-t-this is awesome music. Shit wrong boss :|

  • Dmc4 has the best music in the series.

  • i think that dante and credo were the best bosses because they but up a decent fight... well atleast dante does... right.

  • @bardock310 I have complete bloody palace many times with Nero and Dante. It just takes too long to fight him that's all.

  • in some parts credo sounds like frank west

  • @XsubXzer0XforeverX maybe credo has covered some wars you know?

  • I AM AN ANGEL!

  • We need credo in ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 as dlc that would be badass with this song.

  • @FSCGHOSTNAPPA12 Awesome idea, credo would make for a badass character

  • no DT,no sword attacks,no gun attacks,no using the Devil Reach to pull yourself to him, only using the devil buster abilities, until his shield thing is broken, then using the devil buster special combo :3dante must die mode,no damage taken

  • @ZakkHuroku That takes some really really really REALLY big balls to even try that

  • @DevilBringer115 *seasoned DMC beastful badass here*

when i first tried it,it took me a while,my friend thought i was dumb as fuck to try it too,to make it harder, only use Table Hopper to Dodge,in exception for when his swords surround you

  • catchy

  • "I am an angel!"

"If you're such an angel...WHY ARE YOU SUCH A BRAT?!"

I'm sorry, stupid files got the better of me. xD

  • Credo is the best boss in DMC4

  • GET OUT OF MY SIGHT.

  • Why do I feel like he fights similar to Nelo Angelo?

  • @fearanger1 Now you've mentioned it...you're right.

  • Credo. The only boss (other than Dante) that I've had to use a vitality star for (though I still have to get through the final Sanctus battle).

  • @Kalmfox172 Well i beat him easily on DMD without any vitality stars :)

  • @TheStoneBoB It's probably because I don't know how to break that darn shield of his. I can't even get behind him without using the devil bringer, which is only countered anyway. Urrrgh! My favourite boss (because i hate him so much)! >.<

  • @Kalmfox172 OMG I know a lot of people said he was easy so I was like 'Yeah I'm gonna whoop his ass!' Please, for me he was hard as fuck! But he was still badass though along with his theme.

  • @suckerp991

Bet him on Dante must die then he is a badass supreme <.<

  • @Kalmfox172 Wait until he attacks, and then after he's done attacking that's your chance. His shield will usually wear down and break naturally as you fight him

  • @Kalmfox172 heh, i kick his ass, i can catch that spear of his out of the air and throw it back at him.

  • credo was actually a very fun boss to play with but damn i wanted fight him with dante

  • @awesomeBlackFlash Play as Dante on Bloody Palace then :)

  • sheil=devil side

    sword=angel side

  • ill just come out and say it...credo was the funnest boss in dmc4, sanctus sucked dick and so did the saviour, best boss in a devil may cry game though id have to say is either nelo angelo or vergil, unless you count the fact that nelo angelo is vergil...then its just vergil, when devil may cry relate to the sparda bloodline, they happen to be the best games of all time

  • "I HAVE THE POWER OF AN AAANJUUUL!!"

  • Best boss in the game

  • I wonder if Credo tastes just like Chicken..

*Got my oven and ps3 ready.*

  • Half angel and demon looking boss, AWESOME

  • Was anyone else sad when credo died?

  • Credo A.K.A Winner of 2008's most badass chicken award

  • Frank West: I've covered wars you know?

Credo: I'm Captain of the holy knights you know?

    Frank West: Touche

  • i play this when i free run

  • i love how the angleo trigger looks

  • @TheSasukeKing1 i love it too

  • i can almost hear him say "You will not underestimate me!"...........

  • Comment removed

  • I love to battle with Credo!

  • @Z0NEkill i heard bayonetta is hot...

  • is that his shield or his arm

  • @DARKNIGHT2820 its his shield, you get it as a reward if you have killed him.

  • @DARKNIGHT2820 Both. He doesn't have a left hand, just an arm that grows into the shield. You can see it on his 3-D model in the gallery

  • @DemonKingRegalia Whats weird about that is in the gallery the text says held in his left hand, for the shield when it clearly is fused

  • Credo, it's time for your credo.

    ~_~

  • Anybody else think that Credo was a much better boss than Sanctus?

  • @charcharmunr yeah I found Credo more fun and challenging than Sanctus. Sanctus attacks were easy to dodge than Credos

  • @charcharmunr HELLZ YEAH

  • @charcharmunr Credo & Dante. The way they walking straight to Nero alone look intimidating.

  • @charcharmunr He's the Nelo of this game. I think he's more intuitive in combat, unlike sanctus where it's just timing your bringer grabs.

  • @charcharmunr Seconded so hard. I always replayed this mission just to kick Credo's ass. It's nice to catch his spear/sword and throw it back to him. It just take right timing.

  • @charcharmunr yeah sanctus just took too long, wasnt even that hard got him on my first go, but not credo :]

  • @charcharmunr better boss and music if you ask me.

  • @charcharmunr Sanctus theme and battle is a joke compared to credo and dante

  • @charcharmunr It's just the way of fighting, on Credo it's better to use just the sword and the Gun if you know how to use it .... and since people are usually used with the Devil Arm .... of course it seems a more interesting boss than Sanctus where you just use the Devil Arm and air attacks .... however, the best and hardest boss in Devil May Cry is Agnus all the way ... i always have a hard time with that guy >.> fire, machines, swords, life steal ... one badass boss !

  • @r3mus100 Agnus has life steal attacks?! Funny, i fought him like 20 times on each of the Difficulty settings and never even knew.....And i always saw him as the easiest boss in the game. I don't know, his moves just seemed so "Predictable". Felt like he was the quickest to get knocked down so it was faster to just Grapple him with the Devil Arm as Nero. The only thing he did that nearly killed me, was when he did that Spinning Attack with the swords.

  • @palindinX Never noticed because you weren't dumb enough to be hit by them ? lol

  • @charcharmunr Both of them are too easy, though. I beat the game on DMD without breaking that much of a sweat.

  • yes me

  • @charcharmunr these kinds of bosses always are.

  • @charcharmunr I do

  • No me jodas que no exicta a matarle

  • Credo and Vergil have the same Voice Actors. It says so in the credits lol... it shows Dan Southworth as the VA for Credo on DMC4. on DMC 3 the VA name was proabably Daniel Southworth However, they are one in the same I promise you.

  • @SlothTamer69 same motion capture person yeah, voice actor no. The quantum ranger doesn't voice Credo

  • @lordoYYH255 The voice of Credo is TJ Rotolo, the voice of Frank West, from Dead Rising

  • @Kleigen oh wow..... did not know that?

  • @Kleigen the names credo credo west

  • This is one of the best themes of DMC4.

  • "Do not underestimate me!!!#

  • I love kicking his ass. I weaken him, to a DT grab, then use showdown. He aint getting back up.

  • One of the best bosses in the series.

  • Hey everybody! I have released my new album 'Progenitor' which is electronic music inspired by great games such as the Devil May Cry series. You can check it out and download it for free on my youtube channel if you're interested!

  • @DarqTalonAzel Cause its BACON flavor chicken >:D

  • I love this boss! And this theme. He reminds of Vergil in DMC3 mission 7 battle!

  • this guy would have shit himself if he had to fight dante in DMC4 xD

  • rip dmc

  • so cool!

  • Credo was personally my favorite boss in DMC4, he was fun to play against, didn't play into some cliche like Berial and had a kickass theme..

Whats also fun to note, is that unlike the rest of the ''holy knights'' bosses, he actually looks angelic despite the taint.

  • @Fraemi It's possible that their own states of mind had an effect on their transformations. Credo thought everything he was doing was for the good of the world, he had little interest in the gaining of power, unlike Agnus and especially Sanctus. The whole game needs a direct sequel but Capcom are shit at continuing the story. We started great with DMC, then DMC2 was shit, the story had little to no reference to Dante's personality. DMC 3 was a prequel and DmcReboot is gonna be even further back.

  • @HATERofEVILcritics Yeah, Capcom is running away from the end and just wants to keep us distracted with newer games. Can't wait to see how will people react when the new, and only blasphemy (DmC), besides DMC2, comes out :P

  • @ps3fanforever The gameplay of the DMC games has always been top notch so I reckon as a game it will be fantastic but as a DMC game... Well let's just say if there is any more emo crap from Dante then I will start cutting him up myself.

  • @HATERofEVILcritics Confirmed, all the buttons in the new game make Dante cut himself and cry.

There's also the bonus costumes of Justin Bieber and Edward Cullen, with Edward he actually burns in daylight and has a gun to shoot himself with instead of just a cutting knife. Justin's controls have insults, thrown objects and all the enemies are replaced by men with cricket bats. He has infinite health.

  • @Threadnaught I'm going straight to hell for laughing at that but who the fuck cares, you made my day XD

  • @HATERofEVILcritics lol, yeah. The gameplay has always been good, but as for DmC's concept, well, you know what I mean :P

  • @ps3fanforever Yeah, unfortunately I do... DmC just seems like a kick in the nuts for the plot I mean where the fuck did the Rebellion get the ability to fire out on a chain!? It's just a weird one...

  • @HATERofEVILcritics i got a theory for that you do not see dante's amulet right i think that either his mom, sparda,or dante put the amulet in rebellion the amulet has the power of sparda like sparda's sword that changes shape maybe with the amulet in rebellion it can change shapes like sparda's sword

  • @FSCGHOSTNAPPA12 It's certainly not out of the question, we don't know enough about the Amulet's powers besides the fact that they can open a portal to the Demon World and release the true power of the Force Edge when combined. For all we know, Dante could have unknowingly tapped into the dormant power of the Amulet to mutate the Rebellion. It doesn't explain how Dante didn't know anything about the Amulet in later games but it's a very unexplained artifact so you might have something there.

  • @HATERofEVILcritics Umm I think it was cleared up in the original game. Rebellion is Sparda, the sword used by Dante and Vergil's father, but it's true power was locked away by the two amulets and it took on the form of a mundane sword, Rebellion.

Since Dante carries Rebellion and Vergil Yamato, it's possible that Sparda's power may be split even further, the sword we see in the original may be only half of the sword's full power.

  • Ahh I got the names mixed up, Force Edge, not Rebellion, but my point still stands. The Sparda seen in the original may be only half of the actual weapon wielded by Dante and Vergil's father.

  • @HATERofEVILcritics lol, true.

  • This music plays when your gf got pregnant from you and her overprotective big brother hear about it.. Well it plays while you run trying to escape...

  • To the people who keep denying the 'one winged angel' thing by saying that he's using his other wing as a shield:

Actually pay attention to his defeat cinematic. Nero knocks his shield away. It was never attached to his body.

  • 10 people underestimated Credo.

  • 3:03 Kenji Yamamoto called. He wants the chorus from the Metroid Prime games back.

  • @SethSandwhisper LOL nice..

  • i liked so much this video game

  • man credo looks so much like billy coen from resident evil zero

  • @aldin1009 i don't really see the resemblance. and yes, i know you're referring to Credo's human form.

  • 10 People can't beat him

  • If u listen close to nero in game play while he is Attacking he says the same things as vergil

  • I might'va not played any Devil May Cry games, but I know enough that its music is kickass!

  • @talleric0 Than u should play DMC3. Music and the gameplay shouldn't disapoint you :)

  • @Pryzmat89 Only probelm. I'm 13 and don't have a job. :(

  • @talleric0 YOU MUST GO BUY!!! i dont care which one it is,im hearin DMC3 is superior to 4 but i'd get them both if i were u

  • @WolvenSamurai if he does teleport dodge him then when he ends his teleporting, hit him with no mercy and when he shoots his spear towards you you better shoot him a of couple times, that should damage him

  • Dude i remember yeeears ago when i was fighting this dude.. I had saved with 1 hit left on my health bar and NO FUCKING HEALING ITEMS!! 0.0 I tried.. and tried.. And finally won :) I felt so pro..

  • i like dante more than nero because has a very cool style :)

  • this is just a One Winged Demon not a angel!

  • angel my ass, one winged demon FTW!

  • @ThatOneVideoGame haha lets face it though, virgil can totally kick credo's ass

  • @Bamsukkas without fucking question lol if nero can beat credo, dante can beat nero, and vergil is the only one that even stood a freakin chance against dante except for mundus

  • Nero: stand down! i dnt want to hurt you! i wont do that to kyrie! Credo: Hurt me? you dont get it do you? TRANSFORMS Nero: you too huh? Credo does his speech about being an angel Nero: all you are now is a demon! Credo: as leader of the holy knights you are under arrest, it is the wish of his holiness! (ADDED THE NEXT LOT IN) Nero: some holy knight you are! youve become a demon! Credo: I AM AN ANGEL! Nero: no you aint. Sepiroth is the one winged angel! * unsheaths the red queen* NOW LETS ROCK!
  • Credo:Your power is dangerous!

Me:MY POWER? LOOK AT U! YOUR LIKE A OPPOSITE REPLICA OF 1 WINGED ANGEL!

  • @narutwodjf lmao nice

  • i wonder if capcom would make a 1 disc,2 game edition feturing

dmc 4 & 3,allowing use of all weapon from a ll dmc chapters in

    both.he could even use nero's weapons.even agnus and credo's

    weapons.you could play as trish,virgil,nero,alicia,credo,agnus,

and dante.for date he could have all weapons from all chapter of dmc.

agnus, trish, virgil, alicia, credo, and nero would still have their wepons.

also dante would have full use of yamato.

  • This was my fav boss battle, was wik trying to dodge him and still be close enough to land a punch or 2 :P

  • lol the one wing angel

  • @7Holla7 Cant replace Sephiroth lol

  • @DeceitefulGod He took me probably like 20 tries. But where I struggled the most was when you're supposed to get out of the forest, where you first meet the assaults you have to take on a Blitz at the same time. That pissed me off so damn much.

    And no, I haven't.

  • Why must all the One-Winged Angels be hard?

  • @DeceitefulGod Son of Sparda? Try Dante must Die. That mode took me forever to beat.

  • it sounds bit like nelo angelos theme. maybe it was an inspiration for this theme. but i think.. in dmc vergil´s themes are great but.. i like his theme in dmc1 much more then in dmc3. it awas just awesome when he first appeart. i got goose pimples when hist theme startet... AAAAAWWEESOOOOOME!!

  • 1:23 and onwards FTW!!

  • they take the idea from Despair Embodied's theme

  • I remember when i first played this game on my PS3 all that i noticed was how awesome and realistic the graphics looked...... Two years later, I dont notice shit when im playing Black Ops, MW2, KZ3, and other PS3 games.....

  • Ok is it just me or does this song remind me of Ultra violet.. e.e idk what it is. But either way man i fucking love both vergil and credo... amazing boss battles :/ ...give us back the Dmc we know and love.. i swear if they give vergil retarded hair or not even involve him in the new story at all... ima cry.. so hard. XD

  • Anyone notice how remarkably similar the Credo boss fight is to the first Vergil fight in DMC3? Both fights take place in really similar environments, both are fought between rivals, Credo and Vergil both have the same VA, both Credo/Vergil exchange banter and taunt the player, Credo even has the same npc mannerisms (right down to the slow walk) that Vergil does. I guess Credo's fight was the spiritual successor to a next-gen Vergil fight. Sad thing is that's probably the closest we'll ever get.

  • @ThatOneVideoGame -Nods in agreement despite the fact I've never played the third one.-

  • @havek30 then how the hell can you agree with me?

  • @ThatOneVideoGame Lolz I have no idea. I'm guessing that's what Vergil would do.

  • @ThatOneVideoGame is a bit. they both kinda leaves pretty open after a combo as well

  • @ThatOneVideoGame Credo is voiced by TJ Rotolo and Vergil is Daniel Southworth. However, Vergil's actor did the motion capture for Credo.

  • @ThatOneVideoGame Vergil and Credo have different VA's dude

  • @ThatOneVideoGame You never know. Maybe they'll produce a remake of the first three games?

  • Comment removed

  • @ThatOneVideoGame my good friend swipe of sword does not even come close to sound to vergil and dantes 1st fight even though this one and baroque beasts are my 2 favorites tracks from this dmc

  • @rody2k8 hes talking about the mechanics not the sound and I agree with him it is very similar to the virgil fight a little to similar..........

  • @ThatOneVideoGame Well, Vergil's being added to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3...that's better than nothing, right?

  • @ThatOneVideoGame Credo and Vergil have the same Motion Capture, but different VA, thats why his moves are similar to that of Vergil

  • @ThatOneVideoGame Or just lazy developers :D

  • @ThatOneVideoGame There is one difference though. The good guy won this time round....

  • @ThatOneVideoGame they don't have the same voice actor

  • @ThatOneVideoGame true that, although Credo was far easier in my opinion

  • Credo is an Espada

  • Devil May Cry 3 is better but Devil may Cry 4 boss battles rock!

  • when i first saw credo i was like o shit! i might be screwed then when i saw him walked slow like i might lose! but i didn't

  • Fact: Bosses that do the slow walk tend to be the most badass and memorable boss fights.

  • @RaineAmorie berial wasn't a really great boss to fight though

  • @RaineAmorie Yeah, like Nelo Angelo from the first DMC. :)

  • @suckerp991 Nelo Angelo was an awesome boss fight of course I never truly appreciate the fight until after DMC 3 when you learn alot more about Vergil.

  • @RaineAmorie and thats why dante is hard

  • one of the longest fights of my entire dmc game.... mainly because i was appreciating how cool their design on credo... too bad that if i get serious, it ends relatively quickly

  • Credo was the only boss that i could go loose on and not needing to be extremely cautious about cheap tricks, seriously you could just charge in hit, he blocks evade, try hit again, and epicness just builds up >:D

  • Would be epic to see Nelo Angelo fight Credo.

  • Sounds a lot like Ultraviolet. Is that a bad thing? HELL TO THE NO!

  • best boss fight in DMC 4

  • He always reminded me of Sephiroth slightly. The way that he only had one wing, the fact that he carries such a massive sword (in relativity to his body, it's still nowhere as brolic as masamune). Plus, he has that attack where he forms a ball of energy around his body for a second, and it resembles sephiroth's attack sin harvest (which coincidentally isn't called that, it's just sephiroth saying, "sin, heartless angel")

  • @bkzunltd000 it was "descend heartless angel" or at least in KH2 it was you could barely hear anything he said in KH1
