more interesting than artistic. To be fare, it is hard to experience a landscape on a You Tube video, still lacking grit. Kiefer can make you feel the pathos and beauty of war by pushing paint around with a hairy stick
@mcdesignarts I'm not sure the comparison to Kiefer is fair: he buries his work in references to religion and arguably now-irrelevant mythology whereas An My-Le takes a more documentary approach. I agree that this is more 'interesting' than traditionally artistic because it's fairly straightforward documentary, but I think its subject matter is important for the public to see regardless.
