There were skills in the first game, but they only appeared if you made a correct combination of armor pieces, and it never told you what pieces were for the various combos. It was pretty cool because all the combinations had to be passed down through word of mouth or just random guessing.

Truth be told, I cannot quite remember what full guild knight had back then. I think it had Whim, maybe Gods Luck. Not sure. Whatever the skills were, it'll be similar to that in MHFU.

On MHFU I think you can get it from a Gendrome, im not sure. Im up to 4* village elder.

You get it from the Gendrome as Perfectmoron1 said. Do that quest quickly and alway get at least 1 stun sac from the 2 gendrome. I haven't got any from the rewards yet, but you might be able to.

Monster Hunter 1 for PS2. I beat all the 1-5 star quests and even the 5 urgent quests but can't mine the dragonite ore at all (including the firestone, too). I try mining at the volcano zone like 20+ times and still didn't get them.

Unfortunately, for Monster hunter 1 dragonite ore can only be obtained online... which was shut down about 3 years ago. Offline, it is impossible to get many different items without cheating. Sad but true.

You can get Dragonite offline in Monster Hunter Freedom. I was talking about Monster Hunter for the PS2 in my previous comment.

so for MHF2 i cant seem to get any pitfall traps triggered for the monoblos in the desert? if you have this game plz explain why. Also i cut off his horn and tail does that make a difference?

Monoblos and Diablos cannot be trapped by a pitfall, its been that way since the beginning. They can, however, be trapped if you throw a sonic bomb when he is underground, but that only works if he is NOT angry.

I started a female file to see what the armour looked like about three days ago and I've already beat the Monoblos like 7 times (for armour and weapons and such). ATM I'm trying to get the Gravios armour cause it looks so epic on the guy. So yeah I guess that means I still enjoy the game too. I only wish the servers were still up :'(

i started a female file a while back because i like the famle rathian armor but the rathalos was a pain i had a assassins dagger and i didn't feel like getting the materials to get poison battleaxe so i just stopped using that file after killing my first rathalos but my male file has 18 armor sets both gunner and swordmaster a crimson war pike a diablos tail+ a poison battleaxe an arbalast+ a blood shotgun and a spartacus fire and iv'e done the troublesome pair quest 3 times

The waist was the gunner version of guild knight, and the legs were actually Dragon, similar to Rathian.

Power Seeds can be found in the Volcano, area 7. Dig in the ring of stones on the North wall and you'll find some.

Once you complete all quests in Monster Hunter 1 you can unlock Khezu, Diablos, Gravios, Powderstone and Troublesome pair.

Khezu is unlocked once you buy a piece of vespoid armor, Diablos is unlocked once you buy a piece of Monoblos armor, Gravios is unlocked once you buy a piece of Cephalos armor, Handle with Care is unlocked once you complete the Terror of the Gravios, and you unlock Troublesome Pair once you complete all of the above quests.

Deathprize is a good choice for Blos, and its easy to get. As long as the SnS has decent green sharpness, you should be able to kill him.

For Monster Hunter 1, the two best GS pre-Rathalos is probably Great Serpent Blade and Iron Katana "Gospel'.

Headlock is a cheap tactic created by hitting the head so fast and often the wyvern cannot move. To perform this, online weapons are needed. I'm going to make the Khezu walkthrough first, then I'll make a blos walkthrough.

The green and red armor is (mostly) online only armor. They require items that come from higher level wyverns.
