    i see.. the ritual of hogmanay, is just as fascinating as it is,..mistletoe, the one who get the foot first, the gifts of that guy who entered the dooe via under the mistletoe, yup i wish anyone here in my country could do that too

    One year I had to be the first to enter a house in Scotland as a visitor carrying a piece of coal, thi is said to bring good luck to the house. The UK is full of these strange customs.

    well, those were the cause of those old religions particularly the pagan ones, mistletoe was an emblem of fertility, coal was considered as black diamond, and it was a privelage to find one or ten for they were of rarity, that first foot on the door thing, well if you look on the stonehenge you will find a resemblance of a regular door it has a post and lintel and it was believe that when you enter its circular frame you will be lucky, aah paganism, they're cool,better than xtianity
