  • What is that multiphonic at 0:29? I noticed that you play it on the alto and tenor sax, but they're both the same pitches? What fingerings do you use for that?

  • @jjtyler21 - not a mulitiphonic. Just a growl on a high C - puts some dirt on it.....

  • Greg, that is really sweet playin'!

  • Love your mellow sound. All on the same page musically. Love it when it all comes together like this.

  • hey greg..love your playing man..you have heart..and that sets you apart from anybody just playing a horn..

can u tell me where i can practice those runs..at about 33/34 seconds of this clip..been wanting to learn how to do that..

pleeeaaase...i might ad..you're probably the nicest people around..

  • Greg is your improvisation cord progression or are you in one key signature?

  • Both - I am playing Chord Changes that are in the key of D on Tenor. It is very D min related until the the 2 bars you hear that are different in the middle. You are in a key and reading or playing changes.

  • nothin' like a Vail solo

  • Greg , thanks for the upload !

  • so nice
