Damn dis brings back memories. I use to love tha shit out of dis song when I was 5. My moma had this CD from 1996-2009 but she lost it so I thought of this song when I woke up and every since then I can't get it out of my head. Tony Toni Tone was my niggaz and DJ Quick. I use to love West Coast musik at the time. This song never gets old to me. It will always be apart of me cus when it use to come on, my brother be like aww man yo song is on Antonio. My moma use to call me Tony and still does.
Wow, I didn't think this was still on here. Thanx for removing the beginning bit with the guy with the grating voice who keeps repeating eveything ppl say. Classic 90s track (altho don't appreci8e DJ Quiks contrib)...ahh, beautiful Raphael.
man you are lame DJ quik is the one who hooked up all this song. From the beat to what Tony toni tone sings. This is a Dj Quik Cut not a Tony one. Know That before you downplay DJ Quik.
It's DJ Quik's rap I don't like or should I say the things he's talking about. Of course I like the beat and it's clear I have a good opinion of it. People are allowed not to agree on things you know. No one is arguing that Toni x 3 didn't do a great job with this track. I imagine Raphael has production credits on this somewhere too. Let's be mature about this.
true dat, but you just can't discriminate against quik like that, that's all i'm saying. but i think it's a good mesh between r&b and rap. I think they did a good combo. this song wouldn't sound as good without the both of them. because if it was just raphael, it would mostly appeal to the female crowd, like this i think it's something a lot of listeners could have their pie and eat it too
i Love tihs song,

I agree, not that DJ Quick is bad or something, but I've heard a few live versions by Raphael Saadiq, and I like the song better that way.
