  • 2:30 to the end O_O I'm speachless

  • WOOOOWWWWWWWW

  • People don't realize that the music on the Resistance, if speaking in strictly technical terms, is far more complex than any of their other stuff, and any one else's stuff too! It's a brilliant album! You guys complain than Muse's "new" stuff sucks, but if they didn't change musical direction, you'd bash them for that. They tried something new and pulled it off wonderfully. Now before you bash their new stuff, write Exogenesis or USoE, so you can know what you're talking about.

  • @Ashneaska finally man i've been wandering around muse videos the last couple of months watching many fans blaming them for changing their sound while in the same time they were blaming other bands for not doing so...And i've been always saying what you said....finally someone who understands :)

  • @Ashneaska Dear god, a sensible person on Youtube. What I've been telling everyone. I'm sick of "go back to Showbiz, Matt's voice deteriorates, etc.". Well he grew up, they got more mature (or older if you like), get over it! And to say they aged well is an understatement!

  • this song is awesome high. the solos r just amazing.

  • fucking amazing !!! \m/ *.* \m/

  • Muse makes me smile and laugh. No other band can do that.

    :)

  • damn....so amazing....and powerful...damn

  • no! fucking shit! my computer stopped loading at 2:06!!!

  • OH so sexy muse`!!!!

  • I know the first person to dislike this video. he did it just to piss me off.

  • Muse is so fucking incredible! I wish I could see them live someday

  • My favorite !

  • that fuckin' awesome

  • i don't get what the fuck has to be muse with radiohead

  • Sexiest song ever. The bass is like an aphrodisiac

  • Songs like this make Hullabaloo their best album

  • Comment removed

  • @Teszchk yes, i agree, matt bellamy has cited morello and hendrix as his two main guitar influence

  • oh,that bass!!!

  • I am fucking in love with this song

  • Comment removed

  • muse and radiohead should not be compared. radiohead write very emotive music and good lyrics. personally, i think muse are better musically, since they have loads of great riffs and their music is extremely imaginative and pretty epic ;)

  • i am sitting infront of my pc screaming..that how awsome this is

  • stop comparing! muse will be muse, radiohead will be radiohead. both are beyond amazing.

  • I'm pretty sure (going by lyrics, others' opinion, and my own interpretation) I think this song is about someone who doesn't get the meaning of life("I wish I could believe there was more"). Like "You live, and then you die, and that's it." And he meets someone who changes his life and makes him happy("You've kissed my life"). But something happens that they become separated. And the song is called Recess because it's short for resuscitate(which means to revive.) I'm not sure but I think it is.

  • love this song especially the guitar solo

  • Just enjoy the song and shut the fuck up

  • What? Seriously? This is a b-side? This is better than half the songs on Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry.

  • Finally, an awesome song with 0 dislikes! :)

  • @kikipoo25 forget it -.- ... 1 dislike ):

  • Muse are fucking great. Radiohead are fucking great. People who compare them on a Muse vid have no life. Poeple who might compare them on a Radiohead vid have no life. People who compare bands, in general, don't know what music is all about. Especially when it's about Muse and Radiohead. But every other band is included. Just don't compare bands to bands. Compare bands to stuff like bieber.

  • @JEA21B the irony is that by hating on Bieber, your only making him more millions and more popularity. He has gained so much noterity from youtube recognition (mostly negative) that the Justin fad is no longer a fad.

Why can't people just STOP TALKING ABOUT HIM...

  • @Overdosage I was talking about the comparison between Muse and Radiohead here. If my "fail music" example was something like Lady Gaga, you wouldn't of have written this comment. Bieber was only an example of bad music. The conversation revolves around Muse and Radiohead.!

  • and why are we comparing bands, this is a MUSE song not Radiohead or am I blind? and it is a MUSE song right? listen to this song every day

  • 0 people disliked. Pure awesome

  • This song is amazing! Actually one of my favourite songs.

  • the screams at the end make me shiver all the time, i turn it up so loud in my car every time the solo comes up

  • wouow..... ilove this song ..... 1000% muse fan Lol

  • omg, this is awesome, fucking awesome; I can't believe how MUSE is a good band; the best ever, fucking the best, nothing can even be compared to them

  • 1:00. Good god

  • makes me come

  • yeah it's really gooood

  • LOVE THIS FUCKING SONG!!!!!

  • gooood song <3

  • It just shows how good this song is. There are no dislikes.

  • hypnotizing song really. i listen to it once or twice everyday..

  • So interesting how Muse evolved over 10 years.

You're still good, Matt, Dom, and Chris, but the connection I get from this won't ever be the same as Neutron Star Collision.

  • @blackhalodecat yeah it really is so shit lol

  • @SamCurran41 Kind of invalid since you hate it for being associated with Twilight. :3

  • @SamCurran41 I think Neutron Star Collision was worse than The Resistance album. People hated on The Resistance but most of it was pretty good. But if NSC is the direction Muse is going for their new album, I and many others will be really unhappy.

  • @blackhalodecat Err, Recess - 2009. Neutron Star Collision - 2010. Are they evolving backwards?

This "same" you're talking about is not what Muse typically does, it's their new sound, similar to a big part of The Resistance. Listen to their older albums and you'll understand.

  • @gradian Recess was recorded in 1999

  • @gradian Recess was composed in 2001. 2001-2011. Neutron Star Collision definitely sounds like The Resistance, but it is pretty much meaningless to me unlike the Exogenesis Symphony and Undisclosed Desires. Don't get me wrong, I love their "new" sound, but I connect on a deeper level so much more than crap like NSC.

I have all five of their studio albums including the Hullaballoo soundtrack and HAARP Live album. I can fairly understand their "new" sound.

  • @gradian It's from the Hullabaloo sound track which was way back in 2002.

  • @blackhalodecat So true. The old Muse was crazy, zany, and eccentric.

  • @blackhalodecat I agree. I enjoy this Muse more but as somewhat of a musician, you get bored from playing the same thing and the love of music leads you to try new things. You want to expand into other genres. For example when I play guitar I play fun stuff with riffs like RageAgainsttheMachine or Muse. But once in a while I want to try new tunes so I try to learn something that sounds Spanish and acoustic or a simple acoustic love song. Its in the blood of good musicians to not get bogged down

  • @blackhalodecat Recess>> Neutron Star

  • @blackhalodecat You obviously don't truely comprend the genius of Muse...if they make a shit song it is because they want to, either because they want to make some more money or get some publisity...not because they are shit...either way it is their decision as long as they keep making good shit

  • @blackhalodecat hey I love neutron star collision! but that doesn't mean I don't love songs from showbiz and hullabaloo and other older songs, Muse is Muse and it takes a real fan to like the mainstream and rock Muse

  • @blackhalodecat I wish their next album is like this I loved this album so unique

  • @FlipGordon strongly agree with you ! I hope they will go back a little to their original style in the next album!~~I'm obsessed to this kind of songs

  • @blackhalodecat this came out before neutron star

  • favorite part is the guitar solo

  • @Iknowgoodmusic i don't know why your name is I know good music if you think radiohead is better than muse

  • @ruledbymuse1 radiohead in some aspects are better than muse, then in some aspects muse are better than radio head, i personaly think radio head are amazing, but they are 2 different bands

  • @SamCurran41 i know. i actually agree with you i love muse and i like radiohead i just hate it when people just dis one band for no reason just because they like there fav band better than someone elses fav band.

  • @SamCurran41 radiohead is better in every aspect, but its just unfair to compare any band to radiohead...

    get your ears checked mate.

  • @Bananomon there's something people have. it's called an opinion. learn to respect other's opinions.

  • @Bananomon thats an opinion xD i think they are both excellent but hands down mat has a genius voice : in fact ;)

  • @Bananomon

You're an ill-intelligent narrowminded dick. Radiohead are good but jesus you must have never listened to Muse to have a shit opinion such as yours

  • @Fyrus2k7 ive listened to EVERY muse song and every radiohead song(i think). so yea, if you heard all of radiohead's work you wouldnt say that, ever

  • @SamCurran41 Radiohead are good as a band but i believe Muse are way more musicaly talented but i dont wanna say radiohead arent good :)

  • @ruledbymuse1 this is clearly ripped off from ok computer use your ears. 2:12 proves it unless your not familiar with ok computer. Radiohead is better and muse new twilight stuff sucks.

  • @Iknowgoodmusic i'll admit the new music that muse have created isn't top notch which is not to say it's bad i just prefer there old stuff. But u know there is a difference between ripping something off and getting influenced by it. Of course muse have been influenced by radiohead but other bands too. There's really know point arguing over who is better since it is just a matter of opinion but i would prefer if u didn't come onto a muse video to say u prefer radiohead, just do it on radiohead vid

  • @Iknowgoodmusic Yes, it is inspired by OK Computer.

Sadly, OK Computer is overrated shit with the exceptions of Airbag, Paranoid Android, Karma Police, and Electioneering, whereas the first disk of Hullabaloo is a fucking masterpiece.

Radiohead has put out much better music than OKC.

  • @ItsSomeDeadGuy Ah, can't say I'm much of a radiohead fan - very much an old muse fan (not tinfoil hat era muse tho). However, I have the bass amp that OK Computer was recorded on. I bought it because it was a Trace Elliott rather than its connections, but still a cool bit of history to it.

  • @Iknowgoodmusic OMG! please, for the love of god! stop comparing muse to radiohead, i agree with "ruledbymuse1", both bands are legends in their own aspects, personally i prefer muse

but please stop your complaining and just appreciate them for what they are - fuckin geniuses

Yes, i am familiar with OK computer, its not a rip of at 2:12, just a coincidence, if matt bellamy wants a whammy solo, he gets a whammy solo

  • hullabaloo is probly one of their least mentioned and least famous albums but i think its coming to be my favorite :)

  • @copperbuddy30 yeah definatly! its just amazing

  • @copperbuddy30 mi feelings exactly. LOVE MUSE!!! %-)

  • @copperbuddy30 agree... I love it...

  • You know what, I think this might be my favourite Muse song..

  • why do i love the part @ 1:03 so much! :3

  • Love the bass

  • Dellicously creepy (: Can't wait to see them in December!

  • @museicfan92 Silly rabbit!

  • my fav part ahh 0:47

  • Great guitar riff at the end

  • Best Guitar Riff Ever.

  • @spongebob163 I agree. The remix of radioheads song from ok computer is the best riff. Muse can try but radiohead will always be better

  • I love this song.

  • ahhh how delicious X)

  • 7 0 0 7 7 0 7 on the e string on bass those are tha tabs and the seconf part is 7 0 0 5 5 0 5

  • One of my favorite song...I love the lyrics:) O_O

  • i love 2:35. Its the best tune ever!!! LOVE MUSE!!!!!

  • "Hope suffocating

    And you've kissed my life"

oohh... this song remind me... that pretty girl u_u

  • This song is soooo good!

Lyrics too! but always are with muse songs ^^.

  • Agreed. It seems every song has a unique sound to them as well, and this one's no different. Kind of a trippy 60's/Jimi Hendrix kind of sound with this one. A brilliant song.

  • @tylerallison70 I get radiohead from Ok Computer around 2:10

  • @tylerallison70 Does Radiohead ok computer ring a bell?

  • love it.
