that is very impressive, tool use in animals other than apes and monkey families is rare. My bird only chews on his feathers he is not yet a year old and a lutino cockatiel. Poncho is a very beautiful bird what is his life span?

My kids and I love your Poncho. They want me to get them a bird. I may have to get them a feathery friend.

I beg of you, if you have to get them a feathered friend, make sure that you get them a small bird like a cockatiel or a budgie. The bigger guys like macaws and cockatoos can live up to 80 years or more. Also, get them a rescue bird, because buying a baby bird means that an adult bird gets abandoned for no reason whatsoever.
