I know this is such a dumbass question, but with that usb 3.0 chargetime feature, will it charge faster than if you plug it into the wall socket, or simply diminish the already existing slower-charge when plugging to pc's instead?
I used the extreme auto tuning on this board with my i7 2600k and it OC'd to 4.4ghz is this a safe method to OC as im new to building computers is there anything i need to check to make sure it will run stably
@123thepyro123 yeah deffinatly its a great board if your just starting out, the auto tuning features for over clocking are great if you new to building computers and new to over clocking. my i7 2600k auto tunes to 4.4Ghz i just had to wait for my PC to restard and it was done
@iDuckyfuzz How about it in a more "professional" way? It's my first build that I'm building, but I still got experience with other boards. (It's not like I started last week :P I've been doing it for years)
So, does this mean that for example 1 hd 6950 would run with x16, but if I take another hd 6950 and put them together in crossfire, they run bith with x8????
so, x8 + x8 = x16, does this mean that it is the same performance though I have 2 hd 6950??
@Stacklucker x8/x8 is slower, but it doesnt matter right now as current video cards..yes even 6990 and 590 do not have enough bandwidth for x8/x8 to be bottlenecking in any way noticeable.
I have this mobo and I uninstalled this software becasue it's pointless if you know how to use the bios, all it does it restart the pc and make bios changes anyway - the monitoring software is iffy. so IMO this software is just a waste of resources!
this is good software but if you have more than i monitor, then you get a nasty grey box on one of the screens. PITA. only solution is to remove AI suite
@74Eric74 Youtube volume is turned all the way up. No probs with any other video on Youtube but all HiTechLegion vids have incredibly low volume to the point where nothing is audible.
Of course if you use external speakers, it's not an issue but I am talking about laptop inbuilt speakers. Even with a headphone and 100% volume, I can't make out what is being said.
how come u have way more options under tools ? i have sabertooth p67

@Baleur a wall charger is always faster than usb charging of any kind. The USB 3.o charging is just faster than usb 2.0 (with the feature).

The manual say you can control only : CPU fan, cha fan1 and cha fan 2.
I see on the alarm page there are shown more than those 3 only...
