Living here in the Dak has made me more used to straight people than gay people....So sometimes I find myself standoffish to gay guys. But I think mostly thats because I feel self conscience. It's weird but Ive never comfortable around gay guys even tho Im gay. Probably its like straight guys feeling uncomfortable around women. I guess its just that feeling of not being good enough.
Oh weird, I guess I am real lucky where as an adult I haven't had any weirdness around it. Although there was one bloke who hated me because I was generally annoying not gay - until he found out I liked Tool and aperfectcircle... then he wouldn't leave me alone. HA ha.

The process of coming out never ends ... it just gets easier (hopefully) and more structured the older you get.
You can have been out for 20 years, but when you meet new people there is always that point where it has to come out.
If people don't want to get to know you because you're gay, then they're not people you want to know anyways.
You're great justthe way you are ... don't be afraid to share who you are with people.
