I wish I could turn back the hands of time before 26th April when my husband passed away after we were married 47 years.I miss him so much .We were always Elvis fans thanks for posting this song
Jackiej61too - trying off beat sound, rare, true, just to feel loving arms; music, lyrics simulate real feelings, at least that. Right? Right - have a Lesley, today. The smooch photo - is the only real honest to God truth, to offer the public, once Elvis died. If I was "married" to Tom Cruise, I wouldn't call it a marriage. I'd call us Top Clients. (star wink) I'm a writer, not a wife. Do you find that interesting, or not?

One of my all time favorite Elvis tracks...what a great video to accompany it...thanks for the great work. What a legacy Elvis has left us in his music and how lucky are we that he lived amongst us in our time?!
Elvis recorded this song only two months after his divorce. A divorce that he never wanted and a divorce that led to his depression and death. Marriage is not always bliss but divorce has led to so much suffering and dispair. What God has joined together let no man (or woman or government) put asunder.
This is a beautiful song which i have never heard before. It's very meaningful as was Elvis.Sir i sincerely hope your soul is now at one with our Lord Jesus Christ.. Also 'Charlie Hodge' - lest we shall not forget you Lord have Mercy. Your Dear Brother Neville Bardoliwalla
couldn't be better, could it, perfect in every way. Now look what you've done this morning, Jackie, Iam supposed to be writing, instead I am tracking down your video postings... ***** every time.
This song i remember hearing it around the late sixties or earily 70s.from other people singing it,but the first time I heard A Elvis recording was around 1980,off the Elvis Country Album Guitar Man,and by far Elvis i think does it the best,he takes ownership of this song, the way he sings this song, you can see the hurt, you hear in this song,of a person, who had the Love of thier life, and plain throws it away, and man you feel it.
Jackie, you're a grade one star for this lovely, lovely video tribute to the King. Love it. Beautiful song, beautiful choice of photos too. Thank you.
great song! and i can hear you now,and i can see you now, and i will always feel your lovin arm again, only thing i can say is god created a perfect man,in my eyes.
Wonderful video!!!! like always my friend!!! Elvis touches my heart in such a special way... difficult for me to express sometimes.... guess we all, his fans, feel the same way... thank you for posting it!!
Listening to this song when i was about 18-19 (8-9 years ago), id wonder if my ex-girlfriend was thinking about me still. Elvis music seemed to put my feelings into words in a way i knew i never would be able to. In a way, he moulded the articulation of my emotions, those years ago...
There is an alternate take with a new instrumental track that was released in 1980 that reached #15 on Billboards country chart, with a high of #8. It was originally released on the Guitar Man LP and is now available on The Essential Elvis Vol. 5 Rhythm & Country. It was the A-side to You Asked Me To.
Written by Tom Jans. Elvis recorded it December 13, 1973 at Stax Studios in Memphis, TN. This version was originally released on the Good Times LP and is now available on Walk A Mile In My Shoes-The Essential 70s Masters. It was the B-side to My Boy.
This is my 7th most favorite Elvis song and he easily has the very best rendition of it. It definitely should have been a hit for Elvis (it's such a travesty that it wasn't). It's such a very beautiful, passionate and lovely song and I'll never ever get tired of hearing it. Elvis will definitely always be #1. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.
ACC's #94 song of '81. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a blessed weekend! RIP, King Elvis.

First of all....the divorce did not lead to his depression and death. You are so out on left field. How can you possibly make assumptions like that?
