@supercrapnstuff11 "beating" the game refers to ending it in such a way that you reach the credits. this is why "beating" pokemon is beating the elite four. why? you get the credits afterwards. any "beat' game shows the credits(if there are any)

@supercrapnstuff11 the ending credits never come. it says the end, but theres no credits. not only that, but you CANT get the game to tell you you've won. all you can do is wait until you die. unlike in the real endings where if you win you aren't ABLE TO DIE AND HAVE TO START OVER.

@Theraiser2000 have you actually played the level? what happens is after you beat the slot machine, the game rolls the credits BUT you can fly around, after the credits stop rolling it says THE END and you shoot the letters to make them face the right way, after a while enemies appear...killing you eventually...the game says THE END, want me to make a video?

While Fox is stuck in the strange dimension, there's nobody to defend Corneria. His allies, too afraid to step up to the task, are eradicated along with the others when Andross gets around to his evil plan; everybody dies and Andross wins. GOOD TIMES.

@printz150 I came upon this stage by complete accident. I had what you'd call a "trigger finger" in this game. I was always shooting at everything that wasn't nothingness or the ground... Then the asteroid blew up. I never thought it was some special thing that happened. Then this flying bird wasn't taking damage. First I was like "Is this the boss?", then I was like "OH CRAP IMMA DIE!!!"... then I transported. :I

@danucciguzman The special stage. You can get to it via the asteroid belt by shooting one of the giant asteroids which causes a big bird to show up and warp you there.
