So you need to eat a shitload of tomatos for 3 consecutive months, JUST to reduce sun damage by 11%?? Uh... no thanks. How about spending 11% less time in the sun? Yeah.
@MsZhangx because it's better to encourage a healthy habit that can be continued or taken up by others if in fact tomatoes are good for your skin. Would you rather have a pill for everything?
Well what a mental idea, that what you eat can keep you healthy. I'd rather eat a kilo of tomatoes than wear sunscreen. And what the hell's the matter with those kids, it's just thick tomato sauce.
We need sun and most people don't get enough. Not to mention most sunscreens are toxic, ironically especially when one is wearing them and exposed to sunlight.
something really weird about me is i'm really pale, but when i get sunburnt the skin on my face gets a bright red not very painful glow which goes away after a few days, and my arms hardly peel at all. it doesn't feel that uncomfortable, i barely notice it.
how do the scientists know that she didn't just adapt to the sunburns (especially since they applied them to the same area), causing the second round of sunburns to result in less UV damage?.. and her saying "I notice the difference" in the sun doesn't really say much, it's very subjective.. I think they need to rethink this study.
@khillertubes algae helps too apparently. i'm very fair skinned and got some serious sun on the weekend - my back were i didn't apply sunblock was quite red at the end of the day and i thought i was in trouble but it never got painful and faded after 2 days... may cos i eat chlorella and spiralina every day?
@imnotabear sunblock does have toxins and it should be washed off with soap and water once you come indoors. I'm practically an albino, so I have to use sunblock, long pants & shirts, and a wide brimmed hat. With sunblock I still get badly burned. Luckily sunblock has helped in protecting my skin. Proper diet and working out help my body deal with toxins from things like sunblock.
@imnotabear its toxic because your not using the best sunscreen, the best is" Shiseido Ultimate Sun protection Lotion For face/body SPF60 PA+++". its expensive but its worth it. try it you might like it. you dont feel a thing when you put it on after a few minutes.
God I love this show.

nathalush 11 months ago
@nathalush tomato paste has lycapene in it. they said that. AND it has the good results. it's gt credibility, you're just not listening.
shcnoozlebop 9 months ago
@nathalush the woman says that(vitamin c). but lycopin actually is created through the warming process (-tomato paste)
greetings.

Why does she worry about her skin when she's that fat? It's like trying to swat a fly when there's a mountain lion in your house.

you need sunlight for naturally generating vitamin D and the sunscreens are probably more toxic than any ill effects of the sun, just ask Dr Mercola

@khillertubes Dr Mercola's sunblock is effective and non-toxic. I gave it a good test on the weekend.
