  • This shows some great kitchen design ideas. I think that you just need some good quality wood barstools to finish off the kitchen properly.

  • The glass (translucent, not transparent) is nice, but soon what a cluttered view - in contrast to the 'opaque' cupboards below.

Nice colors except for the dark floor. Un-stained cork is wonderful in a kitchen. Think of the person who is in there most of the time.

    Sink-fridge-stove triangle?

Obviously a kitchen like this is out of reach to 95% of us; it would cost multi-thousands. I am a finishing carpenter and there are HOURS of work in there, whether done on-site or in a shop.

  • Honey, that's transparent glass not opaque.

Better off using fluted frosted glass. Too many glass-fronted cabinets spell trouble and look too cluttered to the eye. Java on the lower and ice white on the upper cabinets is too jarring a contrast; there is NO connection between those hues on any colorwheel! Christ, don't they teach any basics in design school anymore?

The floors and lower cabinets are a warm combo. Sinks are gorgeous and smart. Bonus for corkboard! Need a microwave drawer.

  • awesome designs, really cool, I saw some cool designs at this other website called Platinodesign(dot) com

  • I love the cork photo board, its a great idea xo

  • Gorgeous kitchen! Love the warmth and contrasts. What brand & stain color was used on the base cabinets?

  • love that kitchen!!! Thanks for posting this.
