  • @kellypinklily It will make them larger, but I don't know know what size you will get

  • Thanks again Teresa for the time you take. I would like to ask if you had instructions or a tip for finishing the toe of the bootie without the cluster you have done here. I've seen other maryjanes that are finished off with just single or double crochet that cover the babies toes. For the life of me, I can't figure it out.. thanks! Pat in jersey

  • Thank u so much Teresa. I love u!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @faridaik You are welcome! :)

  • im only 10 and i love to crotchet my mom and dad were so proud of me when i finished i learned how to make them bigger ya i made some for my whole family including my mom and dad!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE AWESOME TEACHER TERESA!!!!!!!!

  • This is my first Time ever attempting to make crochet slippers whilst watching you. And i cant believe how Nice they turned out. Your amazing.. Thank You :)

  • @Prnsez25 You are welcome!

  • Hello, I have crocheted the solomans dress, with a different stitch for the bottom, a pair of these cute mary janes, and a headband to match, its such a cute set. My Granddaughter will look so adorable in this. She will be here end of March and this will make a wonderful Easter outfit, thank you for teaching me so much

  • @firstborn5 Congratulations on the expected grandbaby!

  • Wow this are some beautiful little shoes. I am working on my daughter's second pair.Thanx for your video.

  • @1marlenesc Thank you! Please share a video response when you get them complete or a picture on my crochet page on Facebook.

  • thanks teacher teresa for your time teaching us I just finish the baby mary jane slippers for my niece.

  • @LACHIQUIYABOMBOM You are welcome! Please share a video response of your slippers.

  • I love your videos! My daughter is 9months and trying to walk, are these crocheted shoes ok for her?

  • @exotica83 I would not recommend them with a slippery wood or vinyl floor since she is learning to warlk. They will probably be alright with carpet. Once she gets sturdy legs she can probably wear them anywhere. My son loved to slide on the floor with his slippers when he got older.

  • About how long should this take to make a pair the first time? They look so cute!

  • @fustrated101 It all depends on your crochet skill level. I would estimate 2-3 hours. As you get better, the time will reduce.

  • i'm trying now with a larger hook.. it's really hard to work with a 6mm hook..hope it will come out nice :-) thanks for answering, you'r great!!

  • @kybkybkyb You are welcome, I appreciate the comment!

  • It came out relly small with a 5m hook.. It won't fit my 8 weeks old daughter :/ you think a 6m hook will do?

  • @kybkybkyb You can try a larger hook and/or larger yarn.

  • hey !!! your baby shoes is so awesome !!! so are your other videos !!!!

anyway .. i have a question ?? can you make a video like this but in adult size .

    please and thank you ..

  • The link to the written instructions for the Crochet Baby Mary Jane Slippers is posted in the video details below the video.

  • I love these shoes...I hope I can learn to make them....you are a good teacher

  • @lucy7372 Keep practicing and you will be able to make the Crochet Baby Mary Jane Slippers.

  • Theresa I had tried doing these darling slippers some time ago but gave up because I couldnt get the toe accent correct. I tried again today and got one done!! I think they are so sweet and cannot wait to do more. I am so grateful because of your great instructions I am officially hooked on crochet!!

  • @Kaiseih I am glad that you tried it again! Thank you!

  • Do you have a video to make this for an adult?

  • Hi teresa,i would like to make a bigger size,i guess it definitely be on the sole but i just don't know how??please help!

  • @Msfrangipaniful The easiest way to make these larger will be to use a larger crochet hook. After that, it will take modification and revising the pattern for larger slippers.

  • @NovemberBlueTV Iam not sure what you mean by circle scarf. I do have a tutorial showing how to join individual circles.

  • I love these! Thank you!!

  • @riva5354 You are welcome.

  • Hello Teresa....it's me again :) I would like to know if there are any tips you can give me to make this adorable little shoe larger to fit a 3-6 mo. old? I have gotten many compliments on the ones I crocheted and posted on Flickr :) Are you a member of the Flickr world?

  • you have a very soothing voice

  • @eeli1 Thank you.

  • Just aDoRaBLe! I made pink ones for my greatgrandbaby girl due in November :)

  • @wiLDaBoUtCoLoR I bet they are cute!

  • great tutorial! =)

  • @AnnGee50 Thank you.

  • I love these videos theresa, I have learnt to crochet by watching your videos. I was jsut wondering what size this would be? Also do you have a video posted for a boy version?

Thanks again, I can't wait to make these, although I am not sure if they will fit my 14 month old daughter, I do have a 6 month old niece that they might fit :)

  • I don't think there is a choice for doing the hdc's in the back loop or both loops, i think you have to do it in the back loop because it creates a line that helps you to finish the sole.

I just finished it for my friends niece, and it turned out great!

I just love it <3 Thanks!

  • @awesomelover56 You can work through both loops on sole. It shapes a little better by working through the back loop onlyl

  • this is so cute. i think i'm gonna make it. i don't have a baby tho. let's see which lucky baby will get to wear my very first hand made slippers.....LOL.....thanx for uploading this vid :D

  • i just say wow, nice work!

  • Thanks for the pattern! I used one using the same yarn and hook you did and made another pair using a super bulky yarn and a Q hook; and it fits me!!! XD

    Thanks again!

  • I love the way yo explain everything .... God bless you.... Teresa

  • This is a great pattern and super easy instructional video. I'm more a visual learner and they're so easy. I just made two pairs. I was wonder though, do you have any patterns for a boy? My husband and I want to be surprised by the sex so I'd like to have something in the event we have a boy :)

Also, I've used your baby bootie pattern and have been a great success as gifts to all my friends who are expecting. Thanks!

  • @latindansa I do have the rib cuff baby bootie which will work for a boy or girl. I will send you the link.

  • thanks, I just made a pair in teal for my sisters baby. I have only been crocheting for a few months but your instructions are so clear they look like they have been made by a professional. I plan to wow my sister further by making more from your great videos.

  • @wolfmoon2010 I appreciate the comment.

  • I just made 3 pairs for my baby girl. I used different colors for the toe and straps and they're so cool. I appreciate your videos they are the best I've found!

  • @i8maxxer Thank you. I bet they do look nice with the different colors. Many other people will like your idea as well.

  • Not to complain but the only drawback with your videos, besides this one is that you only say what size the hook is in ‘’ussize’’.

But I must admit that this is very inspiring, you have certainly helped me to get a larger understanding of crocheting. I'm really interested in knitting and now cause of you crocheting

The reason why I would like for you to say what the hook size is in mm. is because i'm living i Norway, and the sizes of hooks and knitting needles is only stated in mm....

  • @carolinesw on my hooks it says both so a H hook is a size 8 or 5.00 mm

  • @carolinesw hi i used a crochet hook 4,5 mm and it worked perfectly fine

  • im only 10 and i love to crotchet my mom and dad were so proud of me when i finished i learned how to make them bigger ya i made some for my whole family including my mom and dad!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE AWESOME TEACHER TERESA!!!!!!!!
