They ruined this attraction. This ride used to be so amazing! It was like sailing into a fictional world. Everything was obviously unreal and very exaggerated. That's what I loved about it. Then, for some reason, it had to be changed because of the film that was originally based on the attraction.

aw i love this ride:) i went on it with my friends christian, brendan, and kayla at like 12 at night... we were the only ones on the ride, haha. and the ride stopped at the scariest, darkest part and a voice said PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILDREN INSIDE THE MOVING VEHICLE, THANKYOU. and were like what? we all huddled together at the big drop:) ahh good times!! :P

Well, I wasn't very happy when then re-did this ride and put in the Jack Sparrow puppets....but now that I am used to it, I think maybe they should put in some mermaids, too. The fourth movie was the only sequel that was any good, so I think they should have a scene with mermaids now.

They should have hired the real Captain Jack Sparrow to sit in. Johnny's presence fills the whole ride. Such an event would have attracted riders for years to come. There's really no point for Hollywood invasion after hype wears off. Of course they keep pumping out those god-awful sequels to the original movie. It's not cool to paint "Black Pearl" on the Wench's hull for Hollywood's sake or put Sparrow in a wench's barrel for Johnny's sake. What do they do with replaced puppets? Burn them?

The fat one was holding a ripped dress and a woman's head popped out the barrel, which made much more sense.
