@tiatdivad yes, without a doubt. The GE Ultem is is very much ok for any and all vegetables and fruits. The Omega does an excellent job with leafy greens and wheatgrass etc. by the way!
@tiatdivad yes, free of melamine. Situation is maybe not so delicate when it comes to normal fruits and veggies but with citrus fruits that do work aggressively...
@tiatdivad Hi, Oscar is the same juicing system as you can find in Omega. Latest Omegas just have new improved black auger which is 8 times stronger than the previous white ones. Anyways Oscar is still a good choice.
Other than that, it is a good machine which will give you good results with hard fruits/veggies, soft fruits and veggies and leafy greens. A good all around machine which we discontinued for reasons mentioned above.
@tiatdivad The oscar vital max 900 is the same machine as the Omega 8003, only licensed under a diff name. This is actually the previous model. There is a new generation out called the Omega 8004/8006. We had a few minor probs with the oscar vital max 900 with the switch on the top of the machine. Moisture would get behing the switch from juicing with wet hands and/or cleaning the machine which required the switch to be replaced. This was solved with relocating the switch in the next generation.
@tiatdivad Hi, Samson is a classical single auger juicer. If you are looking for universal juicer for a good price that might be your choice. In case you would like to process more soft fruits then Omega might be a better choice.
@euJUICERScom That is also a very valid point. The oscar vital max 900's auger is made of Melamine. If you google GE ULtem you will find good infos. Im guessing you know about Melamine already.
Excellent job with the vid! Easy on the eyes, a delight music to listen to, and straight to the point with comparison. Well done! Must admit I really want an Angel juicer now :)
so are you saying the greenstar is better since it extracts more pulp from the juice instead of sending it out into the juice like the angel juicer does.
@dannygun34 Hi, when you compare the juices the angel usually has more clear juice than Green Star so you dont get more pulpy juice if this is what you mean. Would you think centrifugal juicer is better as you get more pulp?
This looks like a great machine. Larger quantities of juice and it looks very easy to operate. It's also about $1,000 or so cheapter than the Norwalk. Definitely going to save my money. Thanks so much for the great videos. Very well made.
I own an army of Juicer that include the Angel and the Norwalk the Angel is hands down a better machine for greens , the norwalk blows this Angel with fruit juices, both are excellent machines.
@blackmagix79 Hi and thanks for commenting! We have a couple other videos on the "to do" list but this we will surely consider this as many people really do think that the Jack LaLanne machine is a great machine but there are already a few videos on youtube showing that this is not the case when it comes to juice quality and quality of machine
Guess I've been on the wrong video page as a fuller discussion/Q&A is on the Part 1 & 2 videos rather than this compilation video (although I have watched the full version also).
Good to find out that the Angel does offer a "blank" screen for nut butters etc. You didn't say so specifically but if it can do nut butters then it can do sorbets as well, right?
I agree with the other posters---you have an amazingly informative and extremely helpful channel. I am saving for the Angel now. :-) KUTGW!
Hi, thank you for your comment. We are going to test the Angel juicer blank screen soon and we will make a video on that for sure. We havent tested it yet so we are not able to tell exactly how well it can do sorbets yet. But logically yes, it should do a great job here. Stay tuned!
For sure, grape seeds are no problem at all. Some people prefer to juice the seeds claiming that they have more nutrients and vitamins where some say that it makes the taste of the juice perhaps a bit more bitter. Totally a matter or taste but the machine can handle this over years with no problems.
Hi, to compare the models 7500 and 5500 please check our homepage. The differences are explained there. The model 3500 is no more in production. This model had shorter twin gears and juicing screen. All models (3500), 5500, 7500 are household models.
DIFFERENCE - MODEL 5500 AND 7500: When juicing vegetables (for example wheat grass, etc.) it is easy to overlaod a juicer. The 7500 automatically senses the additional pressure and reverses out automitcally. This will prevent too much pressure building up in the machine which could possibly damage the sieve.
I thought the automatic shut off switch was supposed to prevent damage?? Would this likely be an issue w/ "regular" hard veges (NOT wheatgrass)?
Hard vegetables are no problem at all. The most problematic are dry leafy greens due to the fibers. With leafy greens it is easy to overload/block any juicer. The normal switch will just shut down the machine and you have to disassemble the machine and clean it. Once you have the 7500, the automatic sensor will try to work out the blocked sieve (by automatically going forward and reverse) so you can continue juicing without having to disassemble the juicer or run any risk of rupturing the sieve
How does the 7500 compare to the 5500 Angel model? The 3500 or 5500 (replaces the 3500) are the only household models I believe you can buy in the states.
No, we havent done any manual vs. electric juicers. Actually there really isnt a very good manual juicer which we know of that is suitable to make a decent comparison with.
I don't know to choose, which juicer to buy, but from this, Angel Juicer seems better choice, than GreenStar or Champion. Its same difficult to clean and assemble?
What about Omega Juicer? Don't planning similiar comparsion?
Hi, Omega is single auger juicer but we plan to make a compare video for this machine also. If you are looking for juicer which is easy to clean you might take a look at the Omega VRT 330 Juicer which is the most efficient single auger machine. In a few days there will be a new video Green Star Elite vs Angel Juicer
Ive just done a test with my Green Star with Granny Smiths and got 690ml per 1 exact kilo, tighten that screw up if you're going to give a proper comparison.
The fruits differs a lot in how much water they contain. Better fruits have more juice. Our aim was to show the results, not to get the maximum juice from apples. Please note that the pulp which remains (or doesnt) shows the true results. So the only possible fair comparison is to juice 1 kg of the same fruits (from same package) for testing to get a reliable comparison.
That pulp on the Green Star looks awfully wet. I question whether the screw controlling pulp on the end was not adjusted properly, leaving the pulp too wet.
@tiatdivad hope we were able to help!

To dannygun34!
The Green Star extracts a lot less juice then the Angle Juicer.
The Angle Juicer will extract a very lot more juice then the Green Star Juicer hands down.
Don't buy the Green Star!

@euJUICERScom More pulp isn't better. The reason there is more pulp is because the machine isn't doing as good a job removing the juice from it.

@starbuck680 Exactly! Less Pulp = more juice = more vitamins and nutrients!

To Blackmagic79!
The Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer is a PIECE OF JUNK!!!!
Don't Buy It!
Spines to fast and waste lots of fruits and vegetables. The pulp is very wet too.
Jack LaLanne uses the Norwalk Juicer for his personal use!!!!!.
rawisin 1 year ago
Wow! Can you just imagine if everyone had a juicer like this? You might cause a world-wide economic panic - more and more getting well.
