Whatever damage was done to his body by booze happened in the early years of his life. But Jesus is our healer and Redeemer. So rejoice at the glorious deliverance the Lord gave him, and the glorious ministry he was used for, and stop complaining and condemning and rejoice in the glory of Redemption.

I do believe in God's divine healing. However as far as this man, do you know that he died of an overdose of drugs in his system? I have been in one of his services in the erly 60's in Chicago Il. Money was his gain. By the huge buckets he was asking for hundred dollar bills. No confidence in this man, if the people were genuine and were healed, it was through their on faith built.
Later in his life he had a problem with alcohol, this does not take away from the ministry that he had. God used David despite the fact that he was a murder and adulterer.
Thank you for telling them. This people love to condemn people that God used to do great things because of their bad past of things they did afterwards.

I would also like to add that often God will use people in a dynamic way and this does not mean its a "blank check" endorsement from God to the person being used. (this is where we get confussed) We all know how us humans will worship the man asap not the One doing the miracles. This was pionted out to me in Rick Joyners book The Final Quest.
