  • I agree we are all interconnected at a deep level, but this works only on the basis of some playform of shunyatavada.

As for sankhya, the subtle levels all belong firmly to prakrti and are hence incapable to interconnect the purusha. In fact, since prakrti is inconscient by itself and purusha is unchangeable, nothing could ever connect or know anything at all. This extreme sankhya dualism simply doesn't make any sense at all until purusha and prakrti are "shunyatafied".

  • Cognitio atque causarum! Great video responce. Conscienctia

  • Very poignant remarks. It is crucial that in trying to understand consciousness we don't neglect its transactional origins. It is rather easy to toss out the Cartesian notion of an objectively existing world, only to keep the notion of an isolated subject. I think both of these notions rise and fall together, and that it would be best for us to leave them both behind. Moving out of the Cartesian paradigm requires a complete reappraisal of the idea that consciousness begins and ends in the skull.
