The 'F' word is common place, although the 'C' word is less so; but as long as it's integral to a drama, or film, & it's not more gratuitous than it needs to be, then it's in! UK TV is VERY different from the USA, if it's appropriate you can see or hear ANYTHING, at any time of day, it must be justified for some reason, mainly educational or medical.
