But because of background checks that need to be assessed. I do security and don't get payed well enough and I had to go through background checks. Police officers, fireman, doctors, lawyers, and all of the remaining professional jobs especially after 911, must go through background checks. That's the difference when you become a citizen..

Your right, the sacrifice to come here for the opportunity to succeed is huge. I know of couples that have left their young ones back home and sacrifice 2 or 3 yrs before they see them again. My father came here and in a 7 yr span went to Mexico 3 times. Eventually brought the whole family wife w/6 kids that didn't know English. I #7 was born here. their are 8 of us. All R married, none ever in jail, none on welfare.
2 Between My father and his brothers & sisters,we have 5 military, 1 border patrol, 1 correctional officer, 3 own business. All in all a family that has contributed well for it country. Honestly, I think Mexican people are one of the hardest workers ever. I mean just look at the yard work they do. Driving around doing hard labor to earn a couple bucks. It's not only political leadership. The advantage that we have here in the USA is that we have always abused people in building this country. The Chinese built most of the railroads, most of our water canals. Blacks as slaves. Mexicans low cost labor for many many yrs. And now the country is built and can be self sufficient.
Plus it has gold, iron, coal, oil, water, silver, diamonds, great soil for crops. Many advantages.

We here in the US have free education to the 12th grade. and uneducated people are taking our jobs? Somethings wrong with this don't you think? As I worked in the fields a age 9, I didn't see whitey next to me. He was at little league, or swimming being told that he was great. I was told theirs nothing you can't achieve w/hard work.

But because of background checks that need to be assessed. I do security and don't get payed well enough and I had to go through background checks. Police officers, fireman, doctors, lawyers, and all of the remaining professional jobs especially after 911, must go through background checks. That's the difference when you become a citizen..

We are taxed to no end needing a 2 income family. We have a Gov. that spends where it doesn't need to. The Gov. make laws to benefit the campaign contributors. But yet allows tens of thousands to come in during harvest time.
Even though we have high unemployment. I believe If we don't want illegals in our country, we need to take these jobs for ourselves. So either Mexicans come for harvesting or we pay $5 per tomato.

I felt like how some Americans felt and it was very easy to understand the slight prejudice towards these immigrants that were coming in. However, I wanted to take a closer look at why they come here. What's the reason that they would sacrifice so much. And why come to a strange place like so. A chance to perhaps in becoming a U.S. citizen through serving in the military while they are there get training to learn the English language, learn to acquire a skill, and attain some benefits such as continuing college. Your right, the sacrifice to come here for the opportunity to succeed is huge. I know of couples that have left their young ones back home and sacrifice 2 or 3 yrs before they see them again. My father came here and in a 7 yr span went to Mexico 3 times. Eventually brought the whole family wife w/6 kids that didn't know English. I #7 was born here. their are 8 of us. All R married, none ever in jail, none on welfare.

2 Between My father and his brothers & sisters,we have 5 military, 1 border patrol, 1 correctional officer, 3 own business. All in all a family that has contributed well for it country. My son today is in Okinawa Japan (Marine). He feels somewhat embarrassed when his buddies at like fulls due to the fact that they can't communicate well w/Japanese and call them names. He on the other hand, tries and respects the fact that he is in their country. I can't stand when ANYONE burns our flag

Honestly, I think Mexican people are one of the hardest workers ever. I mean just look at the yard work they do. Driving around doing hard labor to earn a couple bucks. They don't complain about it either. Not trying to sound racist or anything but, they do some work that no white person would ever do. I remember a guy (he was Mexican) knocked on my cousin's door once and told my cousin he would clean my cousin's front yard for $20 bucks and my cousin has a pretty big yard.
