Umm, maybe 'cause it's a TENOR sax... she (or anyone) would need the ALTO sax to get the next higher (2? 3?) octaves, or the rare (straight) soprano sax to get super "squeaky" high notes. You... don't... listen to a lot of sax tunes, do you? ;')
