  • sounds good but that is one UGLY front end ! Buy a 71 Challenger R/T !!!

  • @apatheticempathy And be like 90% of the Mopar guys out there, no thanks. I dare to be different and it is awesome.

  • @scatpack440 i agree the Polaras are bad ass!

  • @apatheticempathy Dare to be different, I enjoy not being like 90% of the Moparites out there. Being different is COOL!

  • love that polara but man it must have been hard to say goodbye to that bee ps enjoyed the article in our canada keep up the good work

  • @scomyo3 it was at the time, but no regrets, have met too many key historic Mopar people with this ride, thanks for the comments about the feature.

  • ever owned a dodge charger, especially the 1968 manual [they do exist 4 speed mainly] or the rt. mostly 440 six pack i think not sure. [7.2 litre]

  • I have owned 1 68 Charger auto with a 383. The R/T version is automatically a 440 or an optional Hemi. Six Pack was a mid-69 option and was yet to be available on the 68 Charger. The 68 Charger BTW is my FAVORITE model of the Chargers, it's all in the tail lights.

  • @scatpack440 Exactly why I have a '68 Charger R/T (440 CI). Good comments and great vid.

  • aaw Super Bee looked better than that, but this is street monster! HEMI

  • is that the car you got from trading the dodge super-bee ?

and another thing .. how much horse power does that thing have ?

and i know the super-bee made 630-650 horse power cause i know a lot about cars

  • Yes, this is the car I got for the super bee. It's making 550 horses now, but that will change. It will be a 700hp street terror soon.

  • Man! I knew I'd seen that car on Best of Show Auto!

  • Sounds sweet!

Does it have "cool" License Plates on it?

you know, like the super Bee?

  • Actually no, it has the same plate as the Bee. We don't have vanity plates here so the 440 BEE plate was a fluke, I have to try to find 472 HMI, best I could do here.

  • Best I could do so far is the tag is has on it now (as 440 BEE just didn't look right on it)

  • Ya got rid of the Super Bee to make way for the Hemi Polara. Now that you have a Hemi you won't want anything else. I bet you have subscriptions to High Performance Mopar, Mopar Muscle, Chrysler Power.

  • Chrysler Power has been dead for years, but I do subscribe to all the existing ones, yes.

  • Chrysler Power dead? I guess it shows that I have been out of the game for a few years. I have got a bunch of those magazines tucked away and I never get bored reading them. Is Galen Glovier still the recognized authority on Decoding? And is Ehrenberg (aka E-booger) still driving that 440-6 pak Road Runner? I was born in '66 so my dream car has always been a '66 Hemi Satellite. One that says HP on the side and one that says Hemi. You can't have to many Hemis.
