I have owned 1 68 Charger auto with a 383. The R/T version is automatically a 440 or an optional Hemi. Six Pack was a mid-69 option and was yet to be available on the 68 Charger. The 68 Charger BTW is my FAVORITE model of the Chargers, it's all in the tail lights.
Actually no, it has the same plate as the Bee. We don't have vanity plates here so the 440 BEE plate was a fluke, I have to try to find 472 HMI, best I could do here.
Ya got rid of the Super Bee to make way for the Hemi Polara. Now that you have a Hemi you won't want anything else. I bet you have subscriptions to High Performance Mopar, Mopar Muscle, Chrysler Power.
Chrysler Power dead? I guess it shows that I have been out of the game for a few years. I have got a bunch of those magazines tucked away and I never get bored reading them. Is Galen Glovier still the recognized authority on Decoding? And is Ehrenberg (aka E-booger) still driving that 440-6 pak Road Runner? I was born in '66 so my dream car has always been a '66 Hemi Satellite. One that says HP on the side and one that says Hemi. You can't have to many Hemis.
sounds good but that is one UGLY front end ! Buy a 71 Challenger R/T !!!

@scomyo3 it was at the time, but no regrets, have met too many key historic Mopar people with this ride, thanks for the comments about the feature.

actionmaniac287 2 years ago
Yes, this is the car I got for the super bee. It's making 550 horses now, but that will change. It will be a 700hp street terror soon.

Man! I knew I'd seen that car on Best of Show Auto!

Best I could do so far is the tag is has on it now (as 440 BEE just didn't look right on it)
