@thefredd What are you on about? Airfix is famous for making kits of these machines. Tanks and Warplanes were and still are the most popular subjects of the kits. Its not about the plane. Its about the kit. The concorde kit would have only been out when airfix was becoming less popular and I dont even think they produced a wright flyer kit. This isn't to get people interested in aviation history, its about the legacy and decline of Airfix. Propaganda? Of what?

Serious modellers didn't really have much time for Airfix as I recall. Better companies were those like Heller, Monogram, Tamiya and Hasegawa, which produced much better detail with higher-quality plastic, and better decals.
