DELL! I got one NEVER AGAIN! 6 months and the CD/DVD is GONE. Nothing on Dell is Dell except the name. Even the CD is ATI and is GONE!!!! I also cannot load CRC or CHKDISK My removable haRD DRIVE IS GOOFEY. Write or call... KICHING (Thats my credit card being sucked dry) NO SOLUTION They are "sorry" Kaching! Make factory settings LOL Try it and look like a idiot! Bend over and smile here it comes!!!!

Has I stated I am in fact 15 I live in Northern Ireland not England and I have a national insurance card so yes I am obliged to work. Not all foreign parts of the same quality some laptops are really poorly made with weak hinges etc whilst Dell I believe are made with good quality items hence their ranking.

i have been thinking i have the dell studio 1537, it's power button is on the side.. and on the other side in the exact same spot is the wifi catcher button, could you use the wifi button and the 2nd power button?

I have a 1420 and don't press that button before it turns on....

Trust me.

It created a loophole to my entire system and they said I was going to have to re-install everything [losing all my data in the process]

But in a last attempt, I pressed the Windows button while it was booting, and it worked.

You could have fixed it by recovering or replacing the MBR, not losing your data. I have had this working with a 1520, though not right now.
