the subway is cool because it gives you a glipse of what it would be like living in new york in 1979. you see all types of people and how they look screwed up. especially that white guy with his arms steetched out.
@PennyClownWise it goes hand and hand with the grit of their image, as well as the fact that they are DC natives and the DC metro is pretty prominent around here.
@cronicmarley420 you know why right? cause new york was new york and not a fucking cling on hipster bullshit mentality where rent is now fucking rediculous and out of hand where back in those gracious times it was fun and raw the city was in a resession and rent was cheap as a motherfucker cbgb now closed for now over 4 years and 2 months and now fucking fashion store john varvatos took that very historic spot sucks now that place is gone cbgb had a awesome sound equipment setup
@joepulliam1 Great holistic bands are---Melting Euphoria, Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Mother Gong, Acid Mother's Gong, Magma, Aphrodities Child, Jade Warrior, Steve Tibbetts, Patrick Bernard, Lost at Last, Larry Coryell, Shakti, Oregon, Kazumi Watanabe, Toninho Horta, Egberto Gismonti, Eat Static, System 7, Lisa Gerrard, Dead Can Dance, Magma, Sphongle, Bill Laswell, Stomu Yamashta, Here and Now band, Steve Hillage.
I wish more black people were interested in rock music.
Bad Brains kicked some royal ass.

Mind cleansing tune! 'Weird subway'? That's the A-Train; terminates at 207th- thru Harlem. It's a slice of life!

He got so much more aggression in the album version in the early 80's. This early one's a little cleaner sounding, imo, though.
