On Kishore saab, It's not about being best, all of them were great singers.

But KK saheb (Kishore Kumar) was a GENIUS. It may not be evident to a layman but to the discerning ears, Kishore saab took singing to the next level with the emotions he put in them.

Even the great music director SD Burman saheb, started with KK, than moved to Rafi saab but reverted back to KK during his twilight yearsr.

In 70s Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachhan who rules the decade had Kishore saab sing their songs .

It is a huuuuge misconception that Lata cannot sing "sexy"- only dumbasses with little knowledge, taste and appreciation say so. One doesnt have to sound like a prostitute to be "sexy". In this, and many other songs, Lata has sounded sexier than her sister, who is better known (among the same dumbasses) for that quality. I believe that while Rafi saab had great voice (who can forget his Bhajans from Baiju Bawra movie), Talat mehmood had perhaps the best, smooth as silk voice. And yes, Kishore Da put unbelievable amount of emotion into every song. He was was a genius, perhaps one of a kind and we are just lucky to be his audience.

No one said Rafi saab didn't have a smooth voice. However, I believe that Talat saab had the silkiest voice. In 50s, barely any movie was made without Talat saab lending his voice. Whether it was

*Yusuf saab(Daag) or

*Dutt saab (Sujata, Chayya, Usne kaha tha) or

*Pradeep Kumar (Subah Ka Tara) or even

* Dev Saheb ( Patita,Taxi Diver),

Talat saab was the preferred singer.

I believe Talaji had the smoothest of all voices. Just listen to his songs from the above mentioned movies
