Why is everyone so worked up about the rearing? It is her FRIEND'S horse, therefore her FRIEND is the one riding this horse, and is clearly fine with the rearing, as it is stated that she rears on COMMAND not because she is being mean, or bad.

If people want to train their horse to rear on command, let them. You can tell it isn't a huge or mean rear, it's a trick.

In my own opinion teaching a horse to rear is a very bad "trick". I someone else WERE to ride your horse and accidentally asked it to rear they could fall off and get hurt. Just saying because it is totally my opinion. Don't judge me! But that is a very cute horse with great potential

@MissMontana4eva It can actually solve rearing problems. And in the description you can see she said 100% good to ride. I taught my gelding to rear on command after he started rearing to be naughty, they start to see it as work and dont want to do it to be naughty anymore.

Nice riding but i have to say i hate it when horses rear on command or not. if you can have a horse that doesnt rear why teach it too?so you can get a few good pictures until that one day it slips and falls over backwards and injures or kills the rider or the horse :P

@luvhorses71 Reasons why you do it on safe ground, if possible. Has happened to me once, I mean having had a horse actually fall backwards-I was riding bareback at the time, and I fell off the rear before the one the horse fell backwards on, if that makes any sense lol! He was not doing it on command, he was just a being a naughty boy. And he was fine...never gone that high in a rear since xD

ooh that looks like fun! It'd be cool to teach my mare to rear but knowing her it would only make accuses for bad behaviour. She'd try and get away with rearing all the time and it wouldn't be fun after a while. But that horse seems very good with it :)

Again you show that you are an excellent rider and show jumper - your jumping position is as good as can be.

And I did not know that you also have a perfect rearing position - absolutely safe seat and very good balance.

You demonstrate that rearing is not dangerous at all, if done properly by a horse and a rider who know how to do it.

And one can also see, that both of you enjoyed that exercise - Phobe loves rearing - and you seem to enjoy riding a rearing horse.

he was 32 and practically ran into jumps up to 2' 6" and jumped with unbelievable scope.
