It has been up for over a year and after almost 13,000 views.. you are the only person who had that problem with the audio. Do you see anyone below complaining about not being able to understand what is being said? It's a simple test and takes only 30 minutes.

What color is this? Chestnut or Dark Coffee? Looks great and this is a fantastic review for those that want to see what it actually looks like before buying. Right now I am torn between the messenger and the large satchel. What doesn't make sense to me is that the large satchel is significantly larger by cubic inches and yet it is 5 bucks less than the messenger. Does the messenger have something that the satchel doesn't? Perhaps the odd pricing could be based off of popularity. What say you?
@georgio941 This one is dark coffee. I'm not sure about the satchel yet. I'm thinking about getting one (a smaller one), or the thin briefcase. I'm not sure about the pricing as far as time and materials goes. Keep an eye on Dave's Deals on the saddleback website. Sometimes they have imperfections on certain models and reduce the price.
I have had my SB messenger for just about 3 years and I can say they take on a new dimension once they get broken in. I have the backpack, the duffel, and the medium suitcase too. NOTHING compares to good old world craftsmanship.
That's some timeless quality. I ordered one of there wallets and can't wait to get it. I'll have to get one of there bags some day. Thanks for the unboxing.
I really want one, but I'm not sure I want approximately three extra pounds on my shoulder walking through a big airport or down a hot street. I'm hesitant to go for it, unless later in 2010 I can switch to a Chromium netbook and leave the heavier Macbook at home! Oh the torture of object desire.
@thebarak Yeah I'm kind of a big dude, about 220, so 3 lbs doesn't seem too bad. It doesn't get too hot since it is sort of on the stiff side..doesn't really sit on your body like a glove. The thing is it is DURABLE...so the 3lbs definitely projects what you have inside the bag.
It's definitely not the lightest bag, but it's served it's purpose. It's durability has been confirmed. The leather is so stiff that it holds its box shape pretty well. Things inside are protected. I've also had it in the rain..and it did just fine. My friends love the bag when they see it for the first time. It is really unique in its look and I've gotten a lot of compliments.
Any update on this bag? Is it uncomfortable carrying this on one shoulder? I imagine if you load it up with a modest amount of stuff it could weigh over 10 pounds. That's probably not comfortable.
@mongomondomongo I love the bag still. It is TOUGH. So the weight of it, which is not light...is offset by the fact that this bag can take a beating. As it takes its beating..it looks better and better. Every time I wear it out I get compliments on it.
