  • he doesnt use steroids,

  • steroids freak .

  • Can't stand this dudes voice even though he knows what he is talking about! Annoying voice!

  • bunch of virgin internet haters, go die slowly

  • fucking steroïd users

  • lol this dude doesn't use steroids......

  • I don't know how much weight he's using but of he was genuinely struggleing with those small ass dumbbells then he's a puss on so many levels.

  • I dont know what is funnier, his mobey sounding homosexual voice or his overall lackof muscularity and bench press power

  • weird place to work out, under low hanging branches

  • lol

  • why talk shit at least hes tryin to help and the resolts are there

  • "not only does this look stupid..." lol

he has no room to talk. needs to work on his rear delts too. im sure everyone could

  • does this also work your lats?

  • Hey im working out my shoulders and i do this think where i hold 2 dumbells and i lift my arms out straight out to the side and my arm started to crack and it feels wierd when i do the workout. do you know why it suddenly did this?

  • you are so gay baldy. In the still picture you look huge but that illusion is quickly expelled. I bet you normally do workouts with cans of beans.

  • WTf

  • HEHE

  • lol

  • like how many times should you do this a week????

  • thnx for the tips

i hate shoulder workouts its the only day of the week i dread. It hurts so much more than any other workout but i feel awesome after :D

  • cont.

Maybe someone has a joint problem. Maybe someones genetics make them prone to injury if they use a particular ROM. If someone like that were to use full ROM, then they'd just get innjured and have to take time off, meaning they can't workout and increase the muscle mass in the first place. Genetics wil dictate what ROM (and what exercises for that matter) you can do without getting injured.

What he does seems to be working for him.

  • your speaking up for a VERY small percentage of people buddy.

  • You go down as far as you feel comfortable doing, where you don't get injured. Hardly useful using a ROM that in injurious to you.

  • "dont use heavy wheight" thats one stupid line

  • I think he meant don't use heavy weights that you can't handle.

  • hey i dislocated my shoulder about 2 months ago for the second time, can i start exercising like this? if i build up my shoulders , will it help prevent my shoulder from dislocating again?

  • dont be so naive.bodybuilders can take steroids today and claim to be natural 2years later.bcus technically, the drug goes of the body 1/5-2 years.thats when they go runnin around tellin everyone they are natural and havin special genetic bullshit

  • Hi, even if i use a very light weight such as 5 kg on each shoulder, is that enough as im only 5ft 4

  • he is doing it wrong, when u do dumbbell press u are suppose too go down as low as u can if u wanna have full muscle growth

  • He is doing it wrong?

I dont belive that going down 1 inch more is gonna make him bigger, and it seems it works very good for him, if you take a look at his shoulders.

If you post a movie and show your results if woule be intressting to se.

  • to increase muscle mass, you must use the whole travel (rörelselängd). Ask any bodybuilder. Its better too use the whole travel than use to much weight. I would too post a video of myself but cant afford a videocamera lol. search for this guy "tuan tran" my body is similar to him but a little bit smaller...

  • I disagree. It is very important to limit the range of motion of the shoulder to avoid injury. The most dangerous is when the elbows go behind the plane of the torso. On the knee, it is dangerous to let the knee bend more than 90 degrees. You can get remarkable gains without injury following these guidelines. Granted the pros are bigger than me; however, they use Vitamin S AND they get injured in the weight room all the time.

  • You said that this workout will make you look stupid if thats all you do?

what are some more workouts i should try for my shoulders?

  • I think reverse flys might do some of the other muscles, I'll look into it.

  • How much weight did you use when you started? I just started out a week or so ago, and I've started with 8lbs. I follow your recommendation on perfect form and rest if I have to swing or flail my arms. And lastly, I'd like to thank you for your awesome tips on form, philosophy and focus. They may seem like small stuff, but they really count. Rock on, Scooby.

P.S: The masturbation section on your site was hilarious.

  • You're a fucking idiot & weak minded if you have to cheat to get healthy or big. I doubt this guy takes any of that crap, he probably eats real healthy like I do and drinks protein shakes which is alright as well, I don't drink them though, it's only if you need to gain weight to turn into more muscle mass.

  • creatine does nothing

  • Actually creatine does something, it empties your wallet. Or, if you get the lucky batch that wasnt made carefully, you end up with hundreds of dollars in medical bills too.

  • dude you seriously need to lay off the steroids and or creatine

  • you're an idiot, would never take those drugs.

He already doesn't agree with taking creatine..steroids? please.

  • why not creatine asshole? Do some research before you open your mouth!

  • actually i never opened my mouth on this topic its not worth it....HA

  • this muscles can not became without drugs

  • Ofc somebody can get those muscles without drugs -.-

  • depends on your genetics, maybe you cant, maybe you can.

  • well theres somethings i know now about getting muscles there keep posting them i can alredy bench 110 thats good for a 14 yr old 131 pound teen

  • "if u dont have abs ur not gonna have shoulder defenition" ok so basically this is a sham if u dont have abs? wrong

  • Good video, but why do you end every sentence as if your asking a question?

  • hes auditioning for clueless pt 2 ..lol

  • i want ure arms, lol u shouyld work on ure neck too tcuz ure arms are like triple ure heads size

  • "I stop when my elbows are even with my shoulders"...maybe YOU should watch your own video...hint: stop when elbows are @ 45 degree angle.

  • Kiralinator,if u pretend to show off abs (or any other muscle) without pain, then cancel your gym membership and stay at home. This is not golf dude.

  • dude, your crazy, know any good exercises for ABS by the way??? everything i do hurts, please respond to this

  • Good instructive video. Audio needs to be smoother and script should flow better. It seemed to wander at times. Also, you hit the bushes; take a step back. :-) Seriously, your body does give you credibility in the instruction videos.

  • nice i needed a shoulder workout thanks

  • your shoulders are not a small muscle group. for the bench press ur shoulders and triceps are alot more important then ur chest....the chest is ridiculously weak compared to the shoulders

  • I say lift heavy and lift hard or go home! But its not a bad video, still needs some work with audio, plus you get off topic at times...

  • Great videos boss!!

  • Exactly scooby1961, good form is really important, you need to feel the muscle u are training all the way,but as we said, dont stick with the same weight forever, dont take the easy way out, here the harder the better. And of course be inteligent,go really heavy in basic exercises and big body parts and get especially focused on the smaller muscles that will work better that way.And allways walk the walk, dont talk the talk.

  • i like this video

    friendly and helpful advice

    nice work

  • bob8878,u weight 317 pounds of muscle?how tall are u 7 feet ?And u build muscle with ligth weight reps??Im 250 pounds.I workout at Golds in Allentown PA,if i dont lift more than u in every single exercise and i dont look bigger than u i will gladly eat a 45 pounds plate.

  • If you want mass, go for 8-12 rep range. 8-12 reps = better muscle hypertrophy.

  • Your wrong, I have shoulder definition but my abs dont show, I do have abs though(a month of cutting and they will show :D)

  • Well looks like you know so much about it, why dont you man, saying big weights to get big is the most stupidest n bold thing to say

  • Ok,keep going to the gym and squat or bench 100 pounds,im sure u looks like Coleman.U must be huge "m8".

  • people who think isolating a muscle group is the most importnat thing are retarted. BIG WEIGHTS EQUAL BIG MUSCLES! your body will only get as strong as you make it, if you do 20 pushups with perfect form for a whole year u wont get any stronger. Who has big legs? the 100m power sprinter of hte 1600m long distance runner? THE SPRINTER!because he uses the maximum force possible for a short period of time.

  • Right on

  • wrong because a large amount of light weight reps does waaayyyyyyy more than a small amount of heavy weights

  • ARE YOU NEW? large amount of reps with a light weight does not get u big, clearly u need to speak to any professional body builder to prove that im right.

  • hahahahahahhhahaahahaaaahhahaha i am currently weighing 317 pounds of muscle nd i have never taken steriods before i know a few things about weights

  • bob8878 ur a fuckin LIAR, becuase ronnie coleman weights more hten 300 pounds in he offseason. and takes maddd steroids, if you were 300lbs then u would definately compete. the fact that u said u weighed 317 lbs just shows how little you know. ur a joke

  • yer man ur heeaps kool i use 10 kilo weights light

  • Browner you pwned that bob guy so much....OUCH

  • Jesus christ people, who cares? Work out however you want. And remember, different bodies train in different ways. Not everyone is built the same, no one trains the same and not everyone develops the same.

  • Good video. But sadly,if u want big muscles,u better use big weights.Keep your form as good as u can,but use big weights.Iv seen people keeping an amazing strict form in every single exercise and they still in the same frame for years.U need to not be afraid of huge weights or u wont grow.

  • You have no idea m8, big weights = strength, you want mass? its more reps, muscles grow more under continues stress/strain, if you do gym and a course in personal fitness you would know that, and dont tell me off, im currently in the course and next door neighboor was ex Mr Australia

  • All right "guru",so big weights + best form u can is not the formula anymore.Maybe you should write the new ABC of bodybuilding.

  • Excellent point JackREst! Never use the excuse of "good form" to cover for being lazy. Using good form is only half the equation, you still have to give it 110%.

  • yep, and as he said in the video, you do not need alot of weight to get great shoulder development. The only exercise for shoulders that I go heavy with is the barbell shoulder press or when "clean"ing. And this is only on occasion

  • disgusting.. yuck.

  • You have commented that low weight is recomended to ensure proper form; I am a bit confused as I've read that weight is prefered to reps and hence , I think, form. It seems to me that low weights will not stimulate muscle growth as efficiently as heavier weights. Am I right?

  • Form is more important than weight. In bodybuilding the key is to isolate a muscle group. 8 reps is great to put on size, 10 if you're just starting out. Pick a weight that you could do 8 reps, struggling with the last two reps, but keeping perfect form. Form, form, form. Great video btw.

  • Thanks alot mate.

  • I agree with DracosWrath completely. Think of it this way, if you get injured doing heavy weights with bad form how much progess will you make when you cant train at all?

  • hi! first, i visited your website and it's great. i have a question though: how much time do i have to wait to see the 1st results if i just do the dumbell shoulder press 4 or 5 times a week? please answer.

  • If you do shoulders 4 or 5 times a week you won't see any results at all, recovery time is important and if you work out shoulders that much you will be overtraining. I would only work out shoulders once a week. Working out shoulders that much will put you at risk for injury also and you dont want to injure your shoulder because it makes doing any upper body exercise very difficult.

  • would it be better to do a training program? like: monday: chest; tuesday: arms; wednesday : back; thursday shoulders and friday : crunches? will the results come faster? please answer.

  • Just stumbled into this and so glad I did! Very informative, I look forward to using these tips in my routine. Looking forward to more.

  • you look awesome man, fantastic!

  • nice videoman

gonna start doing w8s so its helpfull ty

  • you look great, representing us older guys well too

  • my shoulders are seperated but i dont no what excersizes ive done to seperate them what else can i do for the othere parts???

  • ey man,, u give som egood tips in these vids for home workouts. props to ypu my frend. i'm about to start my fire academy in Jan8 so i wont be going to the gym much cuz of da schedule so ill be at home doing these excersies u show us..thnx again

  • I need to get on a regimen man. Trying to actually gain and don't want to take any of the powders and potions, but it hard cause I'm so active and burn calories so fast.

  • Should I use enough weight were it becomes more strenuous after like 6 reps, or should I use light weights and just keep going until it burns?

  • The shoulders are a small muscle group so it's about reps not using heavy weight

  • I agree completely! Throw around heavy weights with horrible form and you will help put some orthopedic surgeon's daughter/son thru college.

  • I just read your page about lower back pain and found it very informative. I didn't realize you were experiencing back pain that badly. Anyways, keep making these vids, they're motivating me to get off my ass and get in shape.

  • Great video. I was wondering if you could do more videos focusing on lower-body workouts such as squats deadlifts and the like. I hear they are crucial exercises for stimulating optimum muscle growth, and help build the core.

Also, maybe you could focus on lower back excercises for people who want to eliminate lower back pain (which is around 80% of the male population in the USA if I remember correctly.)

    Anyways, good job man. :)

  • LOL! It was a hot day, I wanted to be in the shade.

  • I just had a go at using lighter weights with more control and it is perfect for the deltoids. Inspirational!

  • Thanks designerwin, thats good to hear!

  • That is frickin excellent. And you posted this video just when I wanted to expand the shoulders. All your videos have been excellent to learn from.

A good triceps video would be really nice too..

And thanks so much for the long explanation, that really covered a lot of areas that were really interesting about getting maximum build

  • might be helpful if you talked about how many reps and sets to do and how often to work out.

  • Thought about that but I was worried that the video would get way too long and tedious if I started including all that stuff. My thought was to leave all those details on my website and only have information specific to doing the exercise in the video but I could mention your above points briefly.

  • BTW, you asked for some constuctive criticism so here it is. I think that it would be a good idea to include some what-not-to-do clips at the end showing bad form.

  • The reason I didnt show the what-not-to-do clips is that I was worried the image would stick in peoples minds and they would forget that this was the WRONG way to do the exercise. Maybe if I had a big red X over the video clips when illustrating common mistakes.

  • "Do I harp too much on good form?" I don't think you can ever harp too much on good form. Otherwise, you get those morons who think because they're almost literally throwing huge weights around, they're strong and doing their bodies good. A friend of mine told me of a workout buddy of his who never lifted "heavy," but instead used moderate weights with perfect form but was really built.

  • Yep. Ego-lifting gets you injured, not big or strong.

  • My friend, is very good, is professional as you wanna, really inspirational video.

I am thinking beggining some work out in my house seeing your explanation.

    it´s good have a instructor as u.

    :D

I can and need to still doing it.

    you make me very happy.

  • Thanks Smallarms!!!

  • I really hope have to help u in something, my friend

  • Hey Mumbo13,

Thanks, I try really hard to keep the motion smooth to take it easy on my old joints.

  • Inspirational!

  • Thanks! Get to the weights and have a great shoulder workout!

  • Great video! This is much more professional than your other ones.

  • Thanks BBlifter2, I have finally figured out to use a lot of the features on my video editing software. I cant wait to do my abs video.
