  • just a quick question. i have a test and im not sure if hell give use a chart with the charges on them. how do you find the charge out?

  • @zetsu12345678910 Typically they should provide a periodic table with the charges. Look into identifying the number of valence electrons. That should help you with the majority of the charges. Check out my video called Atoms vs. Ions. Hope that helps you. Good luck with your test. Let me know how it goes.

  • I'm kinda understanding the method your using, but i was wonder if some of these are actually polyatomic ions. For example ClO3 only has 2 elements so wouldnt that make it a binary compound? please correct me if im wrong.

  • this is a very complex and elaborate way to memorize something, where it would be easier to memorize the rules (and exceptions) to nomenclature and bonding.
