@luekneefuka The Samsung Monte is a LOT better than this phone. In my opinion the touchscreen is horrible and unresponsive, texting can take up to 5 minutes, it gets really slow at times and the vibration feedback gets ruined after a while to a point you just hear clicking rather than the actual vibration

using it's touchscreen is hard as hell. the review isn't objective even that on the video you can see he pressed menu item "videos" and "images" folder was selected instead. even worse is scrolling . ideal for masochists ;) lot of phones has bad touchscreen reactions but on this is i think the worst i've ever seen.

i just purchased this phone in the uk and i can say that the phone is not slow at all..it is very fast switching between application and is the best lookin phone on the market hands down look at the sheer size of the iphone its alot bigger this is a great fast touchphone .plenty off gooodies in the bag ...3 cases .headphones ect would of been nice if u get bluetooth to..

ok it looks like if the touch screen is messing up, no he just cant see that there is still plastic on it and or he wants to keep it on to protect it, take it off. the plastic is just so it stays nice in the box. i hate when people keep the stock plastic on the phone or mp3 or anything.

comparing this with an iphone is just silly safe from a purely design p.o.v. besides, UI and technology design is entirely done by apple and has nothing to do w/ samsung. they are just mere provider of parts and they surely don't provide the superior touch technology the iphone is using.

what i miss in the review is entering numbers & text. it looks as the phone has quite long thinking pauses between taps.

They are the trend setter yet they have set the standard so high that it seems to be "imposible" for other mobile competitors to go head to head with apple. The Prada was out almost 1 year and a half before the iphone. The prada was the first fully capable touch screen phone. What is so innovative about the iphone is only the multiple touch interface that microsoft had created years before apple (Surface). If you look inisde an iphone you will find samsung. lg, sharp and other logos. I dont hate apple but it bugs me that people would take a bullet for them. Their products are overpriced. I will admit that design wise Apple can not be beat.

I dont hate apple either, in fact i love them, but the iphone isnt that great... it just seems that way because its from apple, has a pretty good touch screen, and has a few features that only apple could afford to put on. There are phones out there that are much better but the only reason they arent recognized is because they dont bother putting in a touch screen and arent a huge distributer like apple.

I am going to argue with you on your points. The iphone is a gorgeous thig to use. This Armani phone looks stunning, but its display is very slow in responding. having a thin piece of plastic over it should NOT effect it. It is just sluggish!

There will always be phones out there that beat the iPhone in features, but the internet feature alone is reason enough to buy it over this, or any other touch screen phone because its a joy to use.

True, Microsoft may have created the technology, but they made a severe blunder, in my opinion, by not initially launching it for personal use. It is currently too limited in its application. The things in surface are cool, but Apple, in recent years, has had a way of innovating beyond the competition by improving on the weaknesses in their opponents and creating a market for that product. Love the Armani line, hate the Samsung line. And unfortunatley, it's the Samsung that you're getting with an Aramni label. I played with this phone for a while and the whole method of touching isn't as convenient as it is with the iPhone or the Prada LG. phone.
