While I was in Iraq fighting in combat as a US Marine I received a pocket Bible and the When the Music Fades CD in a USO package. It was the first time I had ever heard of this group and I have to tell you that this song and the whole CD made my time in combat bearable. I still love this song and CD and still have that same pocket New Testament that I carry in my back pocket, though it's quite worn now.
