nice attempt. BAD ear...listen to what you're playing. Work harder and find a transcription. Or, match the tune up with the song again and work on training your ear. You dont need perfect pitch but you need improvement.
Two problems: a) I still don't have a keyboard that works properly (that is; some keys work spasmotically which does hinder any form of timing) and b) This video is way too old now ;) This was only recorded a few days after learning to play ;)
When I get a new keyboard, I will put a new one up... Uni and work though is eating into time to a) buy and b) play.
nice job dude, check out our video of steve playing game music on his keyboards. like you, he can play by ear and hes fuckin amazing. neways, nice job dude
the begginning sounded bad, the rest of it sounded just like the sheet music i have. right at 1:02 is where it gets bad too though, and not like the sheet music i have. fix it. u have a bad ear, just get sheet music, if u don't know how to read music, LEARN. it's not that hard.
TO play this song? I didn't use any - just a direct line from the headphone to microphone jack. If you are referring to a midi printing program, then I use an ancient peice of software called Midisoft Studio 4 for Windows 3.1 running on Windows Vista :)
Hi Nintenalex, I play by ear (ie can't read music fluently :P). The only thing I could suggest is searching for a castle midi for mario world and using a midi program to export some tracks
nice cover man, but i think you missed a couple of 16th notes on the bridge

McBon had a point, but if you were just learning to play when you did this video, I understand. Nice first attempt. ^_^
