To think Pokemon are so powerful as to stop actual violence from person to person. It actually turns crime syndicates into pokemon battlers, and if you beat them they walk away admitting defeat. Gunshops become places that sell pokemon and bank robberies turn into "Give me all your pokeballs".
@Wonocva15 yeah, it's the Pokémon themselves that really make the rules in that world, they just like to let humans play their silly games. I think something very much like it is possible with sufficiently advanced technology. People should work towards it. Or hope that aliens take over who are like them...
@wolfpackflt670 Poke cup semifinal. Though I've listened to it on youtube, and there is a chance that the title is mix up, but that is what it says. If you could recall the tune, it is actually a bit hard to place at first with this, but the part at :21 seconds is played by a deep bass and is constant in the background of the tune. There is also a part (played by horn) that reminds you of the middle age man trainner theme from the g/c/s versions.
@dragonOllie15 Actually, the excerpt you were referring to... 0:47-0:52, those 5 seconds sound incredibly familiar, and I'm losing my mind trying to figure out where I've heard it before. Any thoughts?
This sounds like it was taken off a haunted carousel... *shudders with insane face* Me like :D!! It always scared me but loved it nonetheless. I imagine a creepy ballerina spinning off and bowing creepily at :56-:60 :)
when i was younger, my friend thought lavender town had scary music . . . this one was the soundtrack of my nightmares . . . reminded me of a circus eww . . . and gary was there laughing at me D:< asshole
I still have Red and blue version, I got that because my friend don't want it anymore and decided to give it to me. And this bring back many childhood memory since my cousin got me interested into Pokemon.
@TigerMouseTeam Tetris is a euphemism for Communism, obviously. I'd be generous with an addictive, fun video game that also subliminally preached Communism if I were Russian.
@GamerBoy53: Nope, I just ran into a building before it finished with the jingling part. =P
I still find Silph Co. much scarier, though. Partially because you're forced to stay in there as you find all of these people scared at being held hostage and whatnot.
@TheMostBleedingHeart I wouldn't really say that him having a Japanese name in the Japanese versions argues anything for his nationality. Certainly not his nationality in the localized versions. Characters' nationalities can change when games are localized (like Klavier Gavin from Apollo Justice).
