  • This is my favorite music in the game. ^u^

  • WE COME FOR 2012 !

    The End.

    The Real King Of France.

  • One thing I always loved about the Ramirez battle was when he uses Lunar Blessing. When Fina does the move, she's all polite and cheery when she says "Moons, give us your blessing." But when Ramirez says it, his tone is stern and threatening, as if he's demanding it. He might as well be like "Moons, give me your blessing... and your lunch money too!"

  • Why i haven't beaten this game yet still amazes me... and yet I love it!!

Next time I pick it up it's 24/7 till I f***ing finish it!!

  • @GodzillaxD I played this game literally at least 100 times in the past. Just played it over and over because that's just how fucking awesome it is. :o

  • @LeonZapphire Damn right! Have met no other game as original as this one. Just love the sights of the Dark Rift in the distance, the South Sea (it looks sooooo cool to navigate between tornados), Soltis...arg!

(Turns on the Game Cube and loads the game)

    Gotta love it.

  • @operationflux All of that plus love the story, along with taking a mind blowing battle ship. @.@ Pirates ftw.

  • Zerez didn't like this. Lol Yes, I just called him Zerez. :P Deal with it.

  • VV 2 people have no creativity VV

  • 1 person missed his Harpoon Cannon

  • 1 person couldn't beat ramirez

  • "Of the Ancients!"

  • where there is light .... there is darkness sword of the dark moon

  • I LOVE THIS GAME!!

    AND LAST BATTLE THEME SONG!!

  • "We call upon"

  • PIRATE'S WRATH!!!

  • "THERE IS LIGHT...

    ...

    THERE IS DARKNESS."

  • I swore i thought he would jump out of that damn crystal when vyse threw it overboard, because Ramirez wouldn't DIE.

  • greatest. final. boss. theme. EVER!

  • Does anyone know of another game that has the song change depending on how well you're doing. This has to be one of the best parts of SoA.

  • Purely Epic, x2!

(the battle, and the whole game itself)

  • Epic battle ever.

  • "Where there is light...."

  • Dammit^^

The first time, i fought that guy and he used his ultimate-i-gonna-kick-ur-ass- attack 'Silver Eclipse'

i nearly screamed "DONT KILL ME !!!"

    This game is awesome!

    It plays with my feelings!

  • SILVER ECLIPSE !!!

  • hahaha i owned rameriez in 2 turns

  • @SkyFang20606 well, yea. if you make all the characters lvl 99 Ramirez is a piece of cake :D

  • @mugiwara666 The beauty of 2 turn killing him....

  • @Devandevande if i remember correctly it takes 3 attacks to defeat him :D

  • Blue rouges! ATTACK!

  • DREAMCAST A GOOD CONSOLE 1 of the BEST

  • This song was EPIC then. It's EPIC now. Infkncredible song and and even better final battle!

  • The most intense moment I've ever had in a video game was fighting Ramirez when this song transitioned

  • I feel you, man.

  • Forgive me, but what does J stand for in JRPGS?

  • Japanese! the best jrpgs are like big long animes that you play.

  • I don't see why this got a negative... Your comment is true for the most part, IF one were to think about it

  • i was replying to someone who asked what the 'j' in 'jrpg' stood for. did someone think i was being racist?

  • I dunno... Maybe they just hated the "anime" comment. I doubt they would have thought your reply a rascist comment.

  • Where there is Light ... There is Darkness in American version (altought this also like me ) is better version japan that Ramirez says:

Hikari ga aru... Yami ne ga aru....:Gesshoku!!

    Gesshoku = Moon Eclipse

  • Ramirez > chucknorris^^

  • you know people make chucknorris way to overrated man ramirez can cut light

  • Ok, so you people who said this game is easy, try fighting the final boss at lv 46 with no Pirates Wrath? It was like my 7th time playing the game, and I just wanted to see how well I would do without it. I got creamated.

  • Ouch! You need to build up some power!! Hovering round Sltis is a great way to power up quickly!

  • I'm sure you could do that if you bought a lot of Paranta Seeds for Vyse : D

  • SILVER NIGHTMARE!

God, for a JRPG, that move is freaky.

  • JRPGS can get really creepy looking if they want to look at anime that has some freaky stuff in it

  • anyone know where i can download this game on pc cause i cant find it anywhere EVEN IN STORE! so if anyone know please pm me the link and dont call me a cheap bastard please -_- yes i have enough cash to buy it but i just cant find it anywhere

  • As far as i know it was never on the PC, just dreamcast and gamecube...

While the gamecube version has extras i'd suggest you try and get the dreamcast version as the gamecube evrsion was made absurdly easy especially the last boss...

All footage from you see from versions running on the pc will be using dreamcast emulators like chancast and nullDC

  • ive never played the dreamcast one but i iddnt know there was any difference in difficulty between the two

  • I think I saw a couple of copies on Ebay awhile back. Check there.

  • Where there is light...

    ...there is darkness

  • This boss was a joke, but he was so cool and his moves were awsome! "Where there is light.......there is Darkness... Sword of the Dark Moon!"

  • Go and Die Ramirez you chump!

  • When music makes you want to jump around and fight for the sake of humanity, then you know damn well it's good!

  • PIRATES WRATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the son of a bitch kept using my characters moves against me!!!!!!

  • This music gives me goosebumps. I wish my Dreamcast still worked... I should buy the GameCube version and play through it!

  • Agreed I hope you find it I've heard it's difficult to find it not used these days I got lucky and bought it right before Sega stopped making it for Gamecube. Best decision ever.

  • I bought the Gamecube remake around 2003. Even before I read any article about it. it was risky, but in the end it was a nice game. This is one of the most epic themes I've heard in games or the whole entertainment . The Gamecube version had a slightly different arrangement for the soundtrack, including this theme, but it was still very nice and gave goose bumps. The best part is from 2:00 on, the victory-like part.

  • I just like the whole thing myself and I'm glad you enjoyed it ^,,9

  • I never played this game before, but I am going to now, is this really as great as they say? please someone tell me?

  • yes i did play this a long time ago and i did not regret it is a real good game you just need to be patient^^

  • Put simply, The Best. It beats any FF with the explorer feeling.

  • Indeed it has an emotional appeal to it too. I've played the game off and on for years but just recently beat it because I didn't want the game to end. So I spent alot of time lvling the characters to 99 and maxing out their skills. Many parts of the game are awesome too like the view of Crescent Island near the end is beautiful.

  • You ask "Is this really greas as they say?"

I say "BLOODY YES IT IS!"

It beats any fantasy game out there! Skies Rules!!

  • As much as I LOVE final fantasy, this game gets the most respect out of me. Perfect storyline, perfect gameplay, perfect... everything!

  • I love how the music changes depending on how you are doing. It sets the mood so well.

  • i LOVE this game.

i wanted more than a three part final boss though, lol

  • This is one of my top 10 favorite games. From the airship battles to the crew. It was a challenge, but was fun too. I don't know how many times I have played it now, but it never gets old. Good times.

    I want a remake!

  • AIKA WAS FREAKING ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:06 is the music that plays when you start winning. Nice.

  • I love this game so much. It needed a sequel.

Such such a good song. I love this game completely. Nothing I can say I didn't enjoy.

Aside from the Japanese place, that was sort of annoying because I got lost in the town. But aside from that minor opinion, it ruled completely. Above the top.

  • I totally agree with you!

I loved this game so much, i have the song, wallpapers, image renders, etc. and i play the game (dreamcast version) in my PC, with the NullDC emulator xD

  • and emulator for it, huh? I tried that with the n64 and it was ok... until I got caught. :'(

  • No. No sequel. So many things are ruined when sequels are made. Remakes are fine, but SoA isn't needed to have a sequel. It is perfect as a stand-alone story.

  • Unless you have a perfect system for creating and continuing themes. Which is what I'm working on with my brother, so I think a sequel will not only be just as good, but much much better.

  • A DS remake would be nice for portability

  • this was the game

  • "BLUE ROGUES! ATTACK!!!!"

  • "This is what i'm paid for..."

  • GET A LOAD-A THESE

  • "TO BATTLE OUR FOE!"

  • "Of the Ancients!"

  • "The Power..."

  • "We call forth..."

  • "In dire need..."

  • My top save file has over 200 hours of gameplay haha. I love this game so fucking much.

  • oooooooo freakin creepy in the beginning

  • too fucking awesome

  • that pic reminds of a time when me and my brother were wrestling and he said "Were there is light, there is darkness"then i was like oh shit and he beat the crap out of me

  • facepalm

  • great game

  • I don't think I'll ever get enough of these two songs. Best final boss music ever.

  • This music is simply epic...until 1:54.

  • I like all off the first part reminds you of how dark and broody Ramirez is while after that reminds you of how the game beings thus closing the story
