In Shuri Ryu it is Called Dragon Boy Dumping Form. It is incredibly Powerfull in That it Uses Dragon Form Throughout the execution. The Dragon Fist is hidden in the Floating Rib Punch and the Dumping attack. It is considered a Blue Belt Kata But Many Blackbelts run it against more complicated Forms as This Kata Allows Full Chi Release.and There is a Spectacular Heart Strike that Definitely is a Kill in this Form.

One translation of the word is "Dumping Form", from the grab and throw technique you see in this version. This can be seen at 2:13 of this video.

"Dumping form" is not a translation of "wansu"; it is, at best, a nickname. Translation of the name Wansu is unknown, as is the case with other okinawan kata.

Hey, are there any more kata bunkai by Uezu here? I'm in the middle of memorizning the bunkai for all my katas so far(Seiuchan, Saisan, Wansu, Naihunchin, Kusanku and Chinto, excluding my weapons) and these videos are amazing. They are a big help right now and I was just curious if there were anymore?

There are. I am in the process of converting them from video tpae, so look for more soon. I am glad you are enjoying them. I thought that, after 20+ years, they should be made available for everyone appreciate them. I'll have all the katas, with bunkai. The only exception is the bunkai for tonfa.
